Brasserie le BG — Restaurant in Montpellier

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Truly. At the moment my absolute favourite restaurant in the country.

The decor and setting is beautiful. The wait staff are very welcoming and very professional, even offering me tips on my french in a helpful way! Very professional young man. It's a glamorous menu and restaurant, it knows it and it does it very well. I ordered a filet and the meat was perfectly cooked and melted like butter. The seasoning and the sauce was absolutely delicious. I have never had a meat dish so perfect. I found myself wiping the plate clean with bread!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I always come out full of delicious food and a gleaming smile on my face. I always look forward to visiting Montpellier, and BG is always a must dine location before I leave.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my daughters 21 st Birthday .Right from the time I reserved the table until we left after dinner tonight the customer service was excellent .Staff was extremely polite and nice .They catered especially to my vegetarian request and made really nice entree and main course .I was extremely impressed with their champagne and wine list as well .Food was very good quality and cooked to perfection .We were really happy and if I visit back to Montpellier I will surely go back to this restaurant . Nous sommes venus dans ce restaurant car nous étions de passage à Montpellier pour un week end, pris au dernier moment, la réservation n’a pas du tout été un problème. Le cadre : super agréable tant pour un dîner entre amis qu’en amoureux; là décoration à été faite avec goût et les chaises sont très confortables à l’intérieur. La terrasse est également très jolie et agréable. Le service : parfait, un temps d’attente juste ce qu’il faut entre les différents plats et le personnel est très accueillant, arrangeant et soucieux de la bonne expérience du client. Les plats : juste excellents. De A à Z, les portions sont parfaites pour vous permettre de prendre entrée/plat/déssert. Nous avons goûter le pluma de porc servi avec une crème de patate douce (10/10) ainsi que le saumon en deux façons (super frais). et en dessert une pana cotta (moi qui ne suis pas trop fruit rouge il y a un petit goût de basilic qui change tout et la crème à une contenance parfaite).
