I was planning to have a Japanese meal, unfortunately without any reservations it was full and I finally chose Casa Di Giorgio.
I must write this review because, being in F&B industry for over 20 years mainly in Asia and other countries. I came back to France for vacation where I stayed in Cap d'Agde with a below average service, not to talk about. I decided to stop by Montpellier on my last day and I was amazed. At Casa Di Giorgio, there were 4 waitresses taking care the entire floor with a very busy restaurant, with professionalism, passion, care and smiles. The leader with black shirt (sorry I don’t know her name), was handling, service leadership, phone, reservation, walking guest, maintaining positive and strong attitude toward her team by re-assuring them with « we’re good » attitude. French, English, Spanish, she gave and show care to everyone without leaving any room for guest to feel alone.
I could write a lot more but let’s just keep it easy.
Well done and congrats to you and your team. You rock, thank you for the best service i received...

The ham in my carbonara came burnt, and the pasta overall wasn't that mind-blowing.
Servers spoke really BAD English, so it was hard to order. We had no idea that the burrata was an entire €3 extra until we got the check, because the server said, quote-unquote, "burrata inside or outside." Never mentioned paying extra, and I would've preferred not to pay for it if I knew it cost money.
Don't bother buying a bottle of still water. €7 for TAP WATER. It was a hot day (35°C), and we tried asking for ice with the water, but they didn't understand. When I told them in French, they repeated exactly what I said, understood, but never gave us the ice.
Place looked nice, but there was absolutely no air conditioning, and it was really cramped and a narrow space. Toilet paper and tissues were also either too thin or like sandpaper.
Let us take the rest of the food we didn't eat home, but didn't give any kind of discount. Very disappointed for what...
Read moreA 29-euro pasta served with a big chunk sticking together, and that’s what we got after waiting for 50 mins. The bald male waiter is extremely impolite and disdain.
I asked politely for the first time after we waited for 40 mins and seeing all the people behind us have already got their food. The waiter didn’t even stop but only showed a slight smile. No any other words or explanation given. And he didn’t check for us either of course.
After we asked for the second time after 50 mins, the plats were finally served and the waiter scolded us saying it’s not long at all if it’s under 1 hour.
We were also arranged next to the trash can although there a lot other available seats. He also cut me off and ignored me by talking to somebody else when I was still talking to him and talking the order. Very rude! Maybe because we are Asian so we don’t deserve...
