Mostly great experience. We visited two consecutive days on our trip to Montpellier recently. Majority staff were lovely and welcoming except for one particular male server who thought it necessary to comment on what we were ordering (apparently not enough to be considered “brunch”). I have seen similar previous comments in reviews so perhaps it is the only negative for the place. I understand you have a quick turnover but your customers are there to enjoy your food and order what they want. Your menu doesn’t state a minimum spend so I would recommend you keep your comments to yourself. He seemed to have problems with native english speakers but was enthusiastic with French customers 🤷‍♀️.It wasn’t enough to put us off going again the next morning however as the food is great.

When a place is this good, there's a little bit of me that doesn't want to share it so we can always be sure of getting a table, but I mustn't be selfish. We've spent a month in Montpellier, France, and tried a lot of places, almost all very good and none bad. But we kept coming back and back and back to Cold Drip for brunch (toast sales with eggs and avocado or eggs benedict, lunch - salade de jour with chicken and quinoa, cafe latte and a cookie, peanut cafe latte (GREAT) and a lemon poppy cake. Everything was good. Beyond that, the staff are great - they are very attentive to their clients, seem to enjoy working with each other, and have a great sense of humour that can make the difference between a good and a great experience. We'll be back next year (from Canada!)

Tucked away on a quiet street in the heart of Montpellier, this café offers a peaceful and delicious brunch experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and charming, perfect for a slow morning under the southern French sun. I had their granola bowl, which came beautifully arranged with fresh strawberries, bananas, and pineapple atop creamy yogurt and crunchy granola. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced, simple ingredients done right. The flat white was equally impressive, with smooth espresso and delicate latte art, served in a cozy ceramic cup that added to the overall experience. If you’re in Montpellier and looking for a quiet brunch spot with quality food and a laid-back vibe, this place is definitely worth a visit.

We had a small conflict with stuff because they include dish in check that i refused to eat (benny with salmon). The dish was really dry with lot of hollandaise sauce ( the taste of sauce was not fresh with an unpleasant aftertaste) i told to waiter that i'm not gonna eat benny and ordered pancakes (were good). The waiter told me that the chef of cafe did a dish well, and i'm the first person who is complaining and i'm not a king here in France, they have 20 years experience in hospitality, and i have to pay for a dish, otherwise he will call to police, because i'm refusing to pay. That how hospitality looks like in Coldrip. I was refusing to pay for Benny as i'm a client which is not satisfied with dish quality. Stuff start to boiling and raise voice at me and don't listen to me. As there were no decision i suggest to pay half, stuff agreeded with that. Also i left 5€ to tip's pot, but the girl took out a bill and threw it to me and said that she didn't need my money. The food by itself (except benny) was good but stuff was rude and...

Not-to-be-missed brunch spot. In absolutely gorgeous location We arrived mid-morning to a line of three or so parties ahead of us (not unexpected based on having read prior reviews). The owner does a fantastic job in managing the line - - handing out menus, estimating which tables will open up when, consulting those in line about their preference for inside or outside seating, etc. So the wait really was not a problem. When seated, we found extremely friendly and helpful service. Servers spoke English but were also very patient and helpful dealing with this guest's limited but well-intentioned French. Menu was brief but imaginative and had lots of fun choices (I was quite struck by the home-made peanut butter in my peanut butter latte) - - my salad with chunks of chicken (and a halloumi add-on I chose) was absolutely delicious. As we thanked him and said goodbye, the owner handed me a bag with a big delicious WARM cookie for the road - - so sweet. Our brunch here made us happy. What more can I say! Go there if you...

This place has become very bad over time. I went there in 2019 for the first time and both the food and the service was so much better, they even had coffee with asian prints. The last weekend we went with my friend for brunch, they have changed the chairs into very uncomfortable ones so you dont stay long in the place and one of the waiters told us to leave faster because there were people queueing can you imagine?! Horrible, wont go back. The good reviews are because they really were good in the past, not anymore, felt like eating in McDonalds.

Response to the owner's comment:

There was no solution/excuse offered but only a thinking-out-loud opinion. As for next time, not McDonalds, but I would go to Joy Healthfood brunch for a better and more fulfilling...
