Kifak — Restaurant in Montpellier

We were looking for a place to have lunch on a Sunday, wandered upon Kifak, and count ourselves very lucky that we did! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful in composing a meal, the food was delicious and fit the bill between refreshing and filling that you want on a hot day. We also enjoyed the Lebanese rosé, and the menu is especially friendly to vegetarians (though they also have a range of meats). The food is good,not a big variety but authentic and tasty, a small family business. The dessert was okay, could be better. However it was a pitty that they factured the garlic sauce for 1e when they have proposed it as a dip for one of their meat plates, our bill was 50e so it's a shame, they did not say it was an extra, it was as if it comes with it, we don't care about the 1e but the way was like...

Une expérience culinaire inoubliable ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec un grand sourire par la patronne, une femme passionnée et d’une gentillesse rare. Elle prend le temps d’expliquer chaque plat avec une telle précision et une telle chaleur qu’on se sent tout de suite transporté au Liban.

Grâce à ses explications, nous avons découvert des saveurs nouvelles et authentiques — du houmous soyeux, des falafels croustillants à souhait, un taboulé d’une fraîcheur incroyable, sans oublier l’assiette de basterma parfaitement épicé. Chaque assiette est un mélange harmonieux de parfums et de textures, préparée avec soin et générosité.

L’ambiance du lieu est conviviale et apaisante, parfaite pour un repas en famille ou entre amis. On sent que tout ici est fait avec amour, des plats à l’accueil.
