We had been recommended this small restaurant and it did not disappoint - quite the opposite! It is more expensive than many of the restaurants around, but there is a good reason for that: the menu is small, but full of dishes that are very different to your average restaurant, and the quality of the food that arrived was absolutely first class - makes you wonder why it doesn’t have a Michelin star. Read moreThe visit left me perplexed. The restaurant is recommended by Michelin (Bib Gourmand) and the Google reviews are also very positive. Unfortunately, the food was downright disastrous during our visit. One suspects that at some point in the kitchen there was an ambition to cook well and creatively, but all that has remained is a routine that copies the externals of top cuisine without even coming close to its quality. The tuna was dead fried and without flavor. On the plates there were foams, sauces and purees, incoherent and without any refinement, sloppily arranged on ugly plates. The pulpo was good, but any Greek waterfront pub can do it just as well. Unfortunately, the prices are as high as in a really good restaurant. The wine list is ok, very good local wines. The waiters very nice, but could be a bit more attentive. The visit has shaken my faith in the reliability...
