Latitude Café — Restaurant in Montpellier

I love this place and had such a funny interaction with the owner who may have thought I was a typical rude American but I thought it was kind of hilarious. I really stumbled upon it just wandering around - I don't speak French, he was in the doorway reading the paper - I always greet people with a bonjour but I thought he was just some guy standing there so I didn't. He followed me in and quite curtly asked what I wanted. My reaction to these moments is to start laughing so the waiter nicely rescued me and I managed to order a cappucino and have it outside, where I watched a tv series being filmed. I strongly don't recommend this weird place. We took a seat and waited and waited and no body showed up. Finally after a long wait the waiter came but to not to our table but to the tables around . He completely ignored us and even took a seat on a table next to us in the middle of his shift.We tried to call him but it was no use.
