If you’re looking to ruin your day and be treated like a nuisance for simply existing, this is your place. We came in expecting a calm tea break and left stunned by the sheer rudeness and incompetence on display. The waitress stomped over to our table with the charm of a hangry troll, asking “What do you want?” like we’d just insulted her family. No greeting, no smile, just raw attitude. We ordered black tea. The waitress returned to the table visibly annoyed, huffing, slamming things down like we’d personally ruined her life. Dirty looks, aggressive gestures, and not even a hint of professionalism. What we got smelled like something that had been mopped off the floor of a forgotten kitchen, definitely not black tea. When we politely questioned it, they insisted it was black tea and acted like we were idiots. After more insistence, the waitress reluctantly replaced it. This time, it was black tea,but served in a half-filled pot with no lid handle. It was metal. So yes, we burned our fingers trying to open it. The attitude didn’t stop there. We’ve never been treated this poorly in any bar, café, or restaurant. It's one thing to make mistakes, but to double down with arrogance and hostility? Unacceptable. Do yourself a favor: avoid this place like the plague. They don’t deserve your time, money,...
Read moreThe food was alright but the service was absolutely awful. The waitress was very unpleasant and unfriendly from the start, my french speaking friends were translating the menu for me and she butted into our conversation with wrong translations making the whole process difficult. Got our order wrong and once we went to ask for the wrong tea to be exchanged they tried to gaslight us saying it's the right tea (ordered a black tea im pretty sure we know the taste of black tea). Begrudgingly exchanged it and once it was changed they brought back a half empty teapot and with the lid missing the handle and basically had to burn our hands to open it or hold it. Its a shame because the place seemed pretty but the service was really not it, couldve been that they were having a bad day but in a customer service situation that shouldn't affect the customers that have nothing...
Dommage. Je ne pas recommandée ce lieu!
We were visiting Montpellier for our 10th wedding anniversary and we decided to stop for a drink and dinner at this ideally located restaurant with a beautiful view. However, a tall, thin waiter in his forties with a man bun and budding paunch took our order and returned with a completely different beer than the one my husband had ordered. When my husband calmly pointed it out, the waiter opened the beer anyway. "It's exactly the same thing!" he exclaimed petulantly rather than apologizing for the obvious mistake. I won't go into detail about the beers are so very different but..... Absolutely not the same thing! In the end, after several minutes of basically talking to a brick wall, my husband and I decided to just pay the drinks and leave so as not to ruin our romantic evening. I too work in service industry and yes, we're all human and can be having a bad day but don't take it out on the client. That's just bad...
