We can see why Chef Amélie Young Min Deguine and her team have earned all their accolades. Very happy to stumble upon this lovely and tasty place for lunch today. The tonkatsu was perfectly crispy on the outside and the pork was just pink on the inside. The flavors rocketed me straight to a little izakaya restaurant in Nagoya that specializes in tonkatsu. The yuzu lemonade with honey was all yuzu, my favorite citrus flavor, and not too sweet either. Eating lunch here was like taking a trip to Korea, Wow can’t say enough about how good everything tasted. The server was doing a great job taking care of the entire dining room. He explained everything in English which was a big help. Even the wine list was incredible for a small ethnic restaurant with decent stemware.
