Ergste lunchervaring tot hiertoe. Het leek ons een leuk plekje voor te lunchen, dit hebben we dan ook gedaan op 23 juli 2024. We kwamen de zaak binnen kregen al geen verwelkoming of een goedemiddag, het duurde een tijdje voor wij de menukaart kregen, tot we het uiteindelijk zelf vroegen, het was helemaal niet zo druk dus snapte nier waarom het zo lang zou moeten duren. We vroeg om binnen te gaan zitten omdat het buiten te koud werd, dit was duidelijk tegen de serveerster haar zin, het was een probleem, terwijl er binnen meer dan 3 tafeltjes vrij waren voor 2 personen. Na duidelijk te laten merken dat dit haar niet aanstond mochten we toch binnen gaan zitten. Vervolgens hebben wij 50 minuten kunnen wachten op de broodjes die wij hadden besteld…. Het koppel dat naast ons zat waren ook al gaan vragen of het eten nog kwam en gaan zeggen dat het heel lang duurde. Vervolgens na 50 minuten kregen we onze broodjes helemaal verbrand. Wij hebben lang getwijfeld om er iets van te zeggen omdat ze gewoon niet eetbaar waren, maar nog eens 50 minuten wachten op ons eten hadden we geen tijd voor. Toen we bij de kassa kwamen om te betalen stond er een hele rekening van een andere tafel bij… onprofessioneel! Het personeel is arrogant en voor geen enkele reden, ik raad het niet aan om hier te lunchen, hopelijk zijn hun gebakjes wel goed.

La pire expérience de déjeuner jusqu'à présent. Cela semblait être un endroit agréable pour déjeuner, ce que nous avons fait le 23 juillet 2024. Nous sommes entrés dans l'établissement et n'avons pas eu droit à un accueil ou à un bonjour, il nous a fallu un certain temps pour obtenir le menu, jusqu'à ce que nous le demandions nous-mêmes, il n'y avait pas beaucoup de monde et nous ne comprenions pas pourquoi cela prenait autant de temps. Nous avons demandé à nous asseoir à l'intérieur car il commençait à faire trop froid dehors, ce qui était clairement contre la volonté de la serveuse, c'était un problème, alors qu'à l'intérieur il y avait plus de 3 tables libres pour 2 personnes. Après avoir fait comprendre à la serveuse qu'elle n'aimait pas cela, on nous a quand même permis de nous asseoir à l'intérieur. Nous avons ensuite dû attendre 50 minutes pour recevoir les sandwichs que nous avions commandés.... Le couple assis à côté de nous avait également commencé à demander si le repas arrivait et à dire que cela prenait beaucoup de temps. Au bout de 50 minutes, nos sandwichs étaient complètement brûlés. Nous avons longtemps hésité à en parler, car ils n'étaient tout simplement pas comestibles, mais nous n'avions pas le temps d'attendre encore 50 minutes pour manger. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés à la caisse pour payer, il y avait une facture entière d'une autre table... pas professionnel ! Le personnel est arrogant et sans raison, je ne recommande pas de déjeuner ici, en espérant que leurs pâtisseries...

Went today,Sunday at 2pm. About 8 people in the place and dirty uncleared tables everywhere...after 10 minutes of waiting, decided to clear my own table and asked for the menus....also asked for the table to be wiped down.and was.told by the waitress that she was busy. Looking around I could see other customers trying to get the waitresses attention without success. After about another 10 minutes, we decided to leave. It was not busy, there were about 8 customers and several free tables (mostly uncleared). The menu was basic and all told, we had a lucky escape as the food I could see was below even the most basic fayre of a basic cafe. Not sure how this place even remains in business, or.gets glwing reviews ....a huge disappointment, there are many, many better places in Le Touquet. A fancy cake shop trying to also.be a cafe...and...
