Le Bistrot à Huîtres — Restaurant in Mulhouse

This rather unassuming little corner restaurant turns out to be a seafood and crustaceans heaven in the midst of Mulhouse. This Bistro has dedicated itself since many, many years to superbly fresh Oysters, always at least five different kinds on the menue. Try them pure, without any additions of lemon or vinegar, the well cooled delicacies have such a unique taste of their own. Of course, lobster, crabs, clams, langoustines, whelks, mussels, velvet clams, grey shrimp, sometimes king crab are on the menue. The fish selection with cod, sea bass, monkfish, salmon, sea bream and others are superbly prepared and leave no wishes open. The chef knows his delicate produce and treats it with greatest respect. An excellent wine list, very friendly service and fantastic desserts complement a culinary experience of the finest. The most reasonable prices will ensure that you will come back soon. Avis plutôt Mitigé Nous avons mangé à trois personnes hier soir Les huitres excellentes, le carpacio de st jaques, divin ! Le meli mélo avec tagiatelles, crevettes, et st jacques. st jacques fondantes, le tout beaucoup de gout, mais crevettes trop cuites et donc dures et beaucoup trop de beurre dans la sauce, on était 2 à prendre elle même plat et nous sommes raccord, trop de beurre, limite écoeurant à cause de ça, c'est vraiment dommage. Ensuite pour l'ambiance, je me trouvais sous le désodoridant dans le coin derrière la porte d'entrée qui explulsé un nuage au dessus de ma tête, heureusement entre deux plats, mais très désagréable, on se serai crus dans les toilettes, la patronne m'a proposé de l'enlever après avoir du insister car d'après l'équipe, il ne fonctionnait pas ou il n'était pas gênant, ben si il m'a géné, car au dessus de ma tête, étant asthmatique, je suis sensible aux aérosols, je viens manger du poisson au restaurant si j'avais besoin d'aller aux toilettes, j'aurai quitté la table. We had an incredible lunch at Le Bistrot à Huîtres. We did not have a reservation but luckily, there was a table available for our late lunch. We both ate the seafood with pasta which was made with a sublime pesto sauce! At the end of the lunch service the cook came out and spoke to the patrons.
