. I reserved table outside 2 weeks prior and recommend to reserve this place. They will not let you before opening if you reserved 19-30. I really loved this place. I highly recommend to eat there. Very attentive and nice boys which served our food . We took gourmet menu (starter +main+dessert) for 39 euro. I took Grilled Cuttlefish with garlic aioli and black rice. Super tasty and for starter goat burrata with tomatos 🍅 mmmm 😋 desert also were superb Coconut flan, baked with lime in caramel. Highly recommend to take it :) my husband took Homemade Brandade alla Puttanesca" (tomatoes, garlic, olives, capers, lemon & pine nuts) and I took some of his as usual 😂 and it was fresh and amazing. Instead of main u can take House speciality. It is flaky potato pie, baked in a traditional oven, has become the signature dish of Au Flan Coco. Our group of four visited au Flan Coco for lunch as part of our day trip to Nimes. One of our group enjoyed the Plat du Jour (Today’s special) Cuisse de poulet farcie à la scarmoza et basilic, jus de volaille, polenta et courgette. (Chicken thigh stuffed with scarmoza and basil, polenta and zucchini). They thoroughly enjoyed it. The remainder of our group enjoyed Les Pat à Coco, a specialty of the restaurant. It is a potato pie, with crispy, flaky pastry and you can choose from a variety of additional layers within that might include roasted vegetables, tapenade, goats cheese, bacon, caramelised lamb…there were many options. This came with a generous and nourishing salad. Coupled with a rosè and followed by coffee and a range of sumptuous desserts this was a devine lunch made only better by warm service and, of course, outstanding company. Le serveur était irréprochable : très agréable, attentif et à l’écoute. En revanche, la gestion de la responsable a été décevante. Avant la soirée, les échanges par mail étaient clairs et sans problème, mais sur place, son attitude a été loin d’être à la hauteur.

Nous avions réservé une formule groupe (plus de 10 personnes) à un prix fixe, incluant du vin à volonté. Nous étions 13. Pourtant, lorsque nous avons demandé une autre bouteille, la responsable nous a informés que ce serait la dernière, justifiant cela par des préoccupations liées à notre sécurité. Cela, malgré la promesse de vin à volonté. Lorsque nous avons proposé de payer des bouteilles supplémentaires, elle a accepté, ce qui montre que ses préoccupations semblaient avant tout financières.

Au final, nous avons consommé entre 7 et 8 bouteilles, soit à peine une bouteille par personne, ce qui reste très raisonnable. Si cette quantité leur pose problème, ils n’ont qu’à revoir leur formule et retirer la mention « à volonté ».
