Ok. I have to agree with everybody here. Not that I’m an expert in French cuisine, but I’ve been in France for a week, and so far, this is the BEST. So good, I’m writing this review before I’m done with dessert. Heh heh. I got the full course: coppa di cappocollo, risotto a l’encre de seiche (risotto covered in octopus ink. My favorite dish here!), and steak de celeri rave confit & pané (which I will fully admit, I thought I was ordering steak as in beef because I speak 0 French. It was actually celery root(?), but it was so delicious anyway) and I got baba au rhum for dessert. Service was really friendly and professional. He knew his stuff well. He spoke English, which helped my tourist butt. The restaurant opened at 7pm on Friday. I hear most French people eat later in the evening, so if you’re tourist like me and don’t care, sneak in there as it opens, and you’ll have the full service all...

We ate at Léon on our 8th night in France, and it was the best meal so far. The food is incredibly fresh (the cheese was delivered fresh from Italy the day prior!) and local, the atmosphere is charming, and the service was friendly, perfectly paced, and very welcoming. Because we are here in spring, everything revolved around tender green vegetables and lamb, which was tender and falling off the bone. The wine list is extensive, with a fine cellar located under the restaurant. We chose to try an orange wine, because we’d never had one before; it was delicious and went perfectly with the fresh spring meal. Bastian, the owner, was so welcoming, and took the time to explain each dish to us. We had three appetizers, two main plates, and desert, and it was a great value for the price. Such a lovely,...

We just happened to stumble across this absolute gem of a Bistro and wow what a find. A cracking rustic chic Bistro with excellent food and the service is fantastic. The Bistro has a regularly changing menu depending upon the availability of produce. There is an extensive and not expensive wine list. Although we had arrived at their published closing time we were invited in and did not feel rushed at all. We opted to share a Tzatziki starter, had Gnochi with Courgettes and the Mussels main course with the grilled peach and ice cream as dessert. The wine offered to compliment our meal was a perfect match with the flavours of our meal. We live in North of Scotland where good seafood is plentiful but the mussels were probably the best I have ever tasted.

We will most definitely be back for more before we...
