If you’re an English speaker, I would advise against visiting this establishment. The owner seemed uninterested in assisting me, and I felt dismissed as soon as it became clear that I spoke English. It was an unpleasant experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to non-locals.
Your response comes across as both defensive and dismissive, which reinforces my original experience. It wasn’t just about the restaurant being full. Two people who walked in before us were seated without a reservation, so it seemed less about availability and more about how we were treated. Waving your hands in the air and shooing us away as you said there were no tables was rude and unprofessional. A more respectful and clear communication would have gone a long way.
