Bao Dao — Restaurant in Nantes

This is my first time eat street food with a quality product. The cashier told us that the braised porc is the best seller , since it’s marinated and slowly cook within 24h. So i take the porc LO-BAH and my boy friend took the noodle sesame and peanut. Surprisingly the food is so good. I wouldn’t expect the bun is kind a big compare the one that i have in Paris, and it also soft. With the porc inside, Is just a perfect duo ! They also add alot ot diffrent salad inside that make the bao and the bowl of noodle look so loaded. As the price , i wouldn’t compare any other place with them. Lastly we order fried chicken a side and bubble tea matcha. The chicken it self is better than kfc or popeyes. I feel more like it fresh made and the smell “omg” !!! Y’all need to try it. And the bubble tea matcha. We took it as cold and it super good ! For 33€ 2 ppl and full of food. I will come back again....

Authentic Taiwanese cuisine in Nantes, they offer delicious and healthy food options ranging from fry chicken (typically found in the night markets in Taiwan) and fry tofu (unfortunately not the stinky version but equally good). The main main courses are a range of noodles, from sesame to three cup spice. We ordered sesame sauce, three cup spice and braised pork noodles, the noodles were nice and al denté, the sesame sauce can perhaps be a little stronger and with garlic added to enhance the flavor however it was still very flavorful with lots of salads on top, the portion is perfect for one person. Bubble tea is milk based with real matcha powder. Very friendly service....

I highly recommend the noodles. They are al dente. We tried the braised pork noodles and chicken sesame sauce noodles. The noodles are so thick that they carry the sauce very well. I like the toppings on the noodles too. It resembles the balance of vegetables and meat in the main dish like Taiwan lunchboxes. We have also tried the starters. Pickles and the tofu are amazing! The tofu is crispy outside and still soft inside. The taste is authentic. It has made me think of travelling to Taiwan again. Although the shop js small, there is outdoor seating. All the staff speak fluent...
