LE ZYGOBAR — Restaurant in Nantes

I visited this place with a friend who lives and studies on Nantes as well as some others.

The atmosphere was great, very relaxed and friendly. The crowd was mixed, I'm 34 and there were plenty of people who looked around my age as well as loads who looked younger and even a few who looked old enough to be grandparents! It was cool, everyone just had a good time.

I only drank beer and rounds were contributed to by myself and the others I was with but prices seemed pretty standard, no more, no less than anywhere else. Despite the fact it was a busy night, we were served quickly.

The music...well, that was the best bit! You'll see from my video that there was a jam session and this is the first one I've seen with a dude on a Clarinet! Very, very entertaining, we stayed til the early hours and I'd definitely recommend this place if you visit Nantes for a night out!

Hier soir, j'ai décidé de tenter l'aventure au Zigobar, un lieu dont le nom même promettait une expérience hors du commun. Dès mon arrivée, l'atmosphère zigomagique m'a saisi, avec une décoration qui mélangeait audacieusement le moderne et le rétro, créant un espace à la fois zigoinvitant et zigocaptivant. C'était comme entrer dans un autre monde, un univers où chaque détail avait été pensé pour éveiller la zigocuriosité et le plaisir des sens.Le personnel du bar, véritables zigoexperts de l'hospitalité, m'ont accueilli avec un zigosourire...

Awesome atmosphere on JAM/concerts days (which are almost everyday). Beer is good, you can order pizza there....
