We were really looking forward to dining here having read some glowing reviews of the place, and we unfortunately felt let down by our experience.
We took the 4 course dinner menu. All the food was beautifully presented. Beyond the first course, which was well executed, there seemed to be little bringing each course together. The apricots used in the dessert were screw-up-your-face sour - I am not quite sure that this was the desired effect!

I found out about this place through the Michelin guide so I assume the guy in the kitchen can cook. Problem is the guy in the front of the house. I got there, had a reservation, and he couldn’t have been more unfriendly. It was the kind of old-school French host that thankfully doesn’t exist much anymore, the rude snooty superior kind. I sat there for 15 minutes and realized that the service wasn’t gonna get any better so I grabbed my hat and left. The place is also in the middle of nowhere and is kind of shabby. Read moreI've never written a Google review before but after visiting this restaurant I gladly make the effort. If you're a food and wine enthousiast and you want to try a cuisine that pushes the boundaries, this is it. Unusual combinations that not only work, but are just delicious and satisfy your senses will be your reward. On top of that you will be spoiled by the extremely knowledgeable but casual and hospitable host.
