Anao Plage — Restaurant in Nice

Lovely beach club in Beaulieu-sur-mer. Didn’t have a reservation, but came in and got two deckchairs right away. Deckchairs include towels. We were sat in a nice spot on the second row. Had two non-alcoholic cocktails which were so amazing and flavourful. Eventually sat in the restaurant for lunch and unfortunately we were seated all the way at the table in the left corner of the restaurant by the exit behind a plant. Was completely shaded area, on a hot 30+ degree day we were freezing due to the shade at the table, plus the tree that was shading our table had leaves falling off of it which kept dropping on our table… We honestly just made do as we visited here on our last day and we were having a good time, but if you get seated here i recommend asking for a change in tables. Came here with my cousin who is a hijabi and can say that this was a very friendly place for us in terms of staff. Some guest gave my cousin rude looks, however that isn’t a reflection of the staff/ this place. Food was good but took a while to come. Slow service meant that the food was a bit cold when it arrived. I got Octopus which was nice and it came with mashed potato however you can tell it’s been sitting out a bit long as the potato came cracked and dry. Food isn’t cheap, but standard price for côte d’azur so you can’t complain. Slow service from staff was also noticed when they didn’t offer complimentary bread to our table but offered it to all other tables. Had to end up asking the staff for bread. Really bad place to be in Negative environments from all staff We feel really stressed there Not good place to be I sugust if you wish to have a nice time, Try the two other private clubs in little Africans beach They have Excellent service Anao is really a commercial place with no service no good food Only one think are good Playing cinema towards the clients The two managers The only thing they know to tell you that, they are fully booked. The only thing they do well is to sell cinema towards the clientele and the service And all service is like this since there is no professionalism at all…

I have been back to this club this year Really disappointed even I know one of the two owners. Désorganisation compete from the staff They say they are fully booked always and they don’t know how to handle reservations service and welcome of the clients.

The food is ok… But the ambiance really bad We feel not relax and stressed in this place

I recommande if you are looking for a nice private club relaxe and excellent food Go to little Afrique 700 meter away toward the port and you will find 2 excellent and new private clubs to really enjoy I do not at all recommend to visit Anao club You will be really disappointed from the staff, food and ambiance

Put 4 soft drinks on my bill when I had 2. Refused to refund as they had a computer problem , tried to take it out their waiters tips instead. I refused as I didn’t want the waiter out of pocket. Treat staff better and have better customer service. 320 euro + bill and couldn’t accommodate a 10 euro mistake

Update: Thanks for the completely fabricated reply 2 months after the fact. I’ll happily update the review lower to a lower score for you in return. Simply taking responsibility and apologizing would have been enough, thank you. Regarding the towel I asked if I could have it and was not informed it was an extra cost. It also wasn’t 3 extra oranginas you mischarged for it was only 2. The waiters here are generally great, actually it seems it’s just the management who are awful. The guy claims to have talked to me for 30mins but actually we left after 5 as for 10 euros it really wasn’t worth it for me as I said I spent over 320 euros for a day at this place… Luckily there’s plenty of other private beaches in the area (go to petite Afrique there are two excellent clubs there) without such bad service.
