Features gorgeous views down the bay (looking southward). The sea here is vividly clear, blue and placid. There's easy, uninterrupted open-water swimming along the top of bay. Also, there's variety in this beach in that the surface varies from fine sand to pebble areas. While underwater, the shallows vary from pool-like bottom through to seagrass supported small fish. Extensive boat exclusion zones. There are several showers located along the beach wall and also shower-toilet blocks at the roadside, as are several cafes. The waters are truly the most blue and clear in the 8 days I’ve been in the French Riviera. The beach is much more relaxed and spacious compared to other more popular beaches like the one in main Nice. The beach is sandy and you can choose to sit on the sand, at the stone ledge along the walkways or in the few beach chairs.
