Jasmin Grill & Lounge — Restaurant in Nice

I just stopped at 17:50 for quick snack/ ceviche of daurade fish. I had to remind them to being me menu even if they were not busy and chatting.. Anyway, as I knew what I wanted and not to loose time (i just finished beach very hungry, and I still had later dinner plans) I told them directly ceviche and a glass of white dry wine to go with it. Also some still water. It didn’t take long to get my wine and 1 litre of water bottle, that server started opening immediately. I asked if he has smaller bottle as I am alone, he said yes and brought 0.5litre. ! Why would you by default bring 1 litre for 1 person?! To you bring barrel for 3 people?! Anyway, clear mis selling. Ceviche arrived pretty fast and it was amazing! When I asked for bill I saw that my glass of wine costed nearly same as ceviche?? I checked menu and I saw they gave me the most expensive glass 27eur, while they had wines from 12eur up. Such a poor additional mis selling!! Its not a problem to pay, but this shows your ‘client oriented’ mis selling so clearly. Happy to consider new expensive wine I dont know, but when I asked to propose nice wine it is extremely worth mentioning that btw madame, this glass will be double that other wines we have, are you fine with it? Or maybe directly bringing 0.5litre water not 1 litre?! Even if ceviche was really nice, the behavior of waiters brought down the full experience! Very sad and I dont think I will be recommending it or going back personally or...

One of the worst restaurants we ever visited. Not only they charge you horrible high prices but the food is rally bad and fake. You get served a dry tasteless Piece of Cold rough meat, labelled grill beef priced at 30 €, without sauce (only cheap low quality oily ketchup), fries made in old stinking oil causing heartburn, small uncomfortable cafeteria tables/chairs. They also fool you by Selling tape water at 10 € and, at last , add VAT to the bill which is not declared anywhere. Simply speaking a real Disappointment and a set up abusing a no longer existing quality brand. I do indeed not recommend this...

This is definitely not a 4.6 star experience, mon frere.

This place is tres expensive and the food is not quite as bon as the prices would indicate. Notes: Cocktail was pretty poor considering it cost 22 euros. Had it been 10 euros I would have been more forgiving. Food ranged from good to tres bad- the greek salad we had was completely undressed - i.e. just raw lettuce and cucumbers. they had the courtesy to throw in some feta and olives but, again, at these price points, je suis désolé but that's just not good enough

I would advise you to say non merci and head to the next spot. Pass on...
