Dear reader, stay away as they treat French and English speakers completely differently. They ask English speakers to wait even if they have a reservation. This place needs to be closed. Horribly rude and arrogant owner. Please check the other reviews, so many other English speakers mention the exact same problem.
To Baia Bellaâs reply : I was never rude or inappropriate, please stop lying as instead this attitude was from your owner ! He pushed me and he said he wonât give a table to me. It was horribly arrogant, I couldnât believe it.
Also, regardless of when I make the reservation, you have to honour it, even if it was made 5 minutes before the date !!! I received a confirmation of reservation to my email, the table was already booked. Once again you are lying down in your reply saying it was not a confirmation. I am left speechless !!!! Iâll leave a lot more reviews and keep on lying, people will see your real face !
And yes ! You do discriminate based on what language people speak, I heard it with my own ears, you showing the French customer the table while he didnât even have a reservation !
Oh and ! You never ever said I could have a free drink ! PATHETIC full of Lies just cannot...
Read moreLocation on the beach is next to the area with car parking so you have park parking and some works, part beach view only. Beach in this side smells with dead seaweed and water is not clean (the only beach in South of France I have seen so smelly). What you see on the pictures is NOT what you get as the view and atmosphere. The establishment itself: 1/ service is rather arrogant. Attitude, pretending it is âFrench wayâ. It is a nonsense, other locations in the south of France donât have such attitude 2/ food: average food. Waitress had a horrible attitude. Examples: pizza with was served without cheese, when we were surprised and asked her to pass the message to the management that this is not ok for pizza, she gave attitude that this is âfrenchâ. I live in Paris and my husband is French. This is not normal for France, just this place. 3/ showers and amenities.. ok, no problem
Overall it is a good place to go with kids as you have sports...
Read moreThe previous day Iâd passed a beach called Anao on the other side of town and on an impulse asked if I could reserve a sun-bed and a parasol (for Saturday). I was told they didnât take reservations for single people. Nor could I reserve for lunch at the restaurant. Luckily, the owner of my hotel, Le Select, recommended Baia Bella.
I made a quick phone call and immediately understood that this was a whole different world. The young woman on the phone was friendly and enthusiastic, and had no problem at all with my single booking. When I arrived the next day, the high standards continued. The washing and changing facilities were clean, the restaurant was elegant without being pretentious and lunch was delicious. The beach itself was spotless and there was no noisy piped music. The perfect beach day? I have...
