We had a decent time at this restaurant, but expected more based on price. Ordered some drinks to begin, and when they were brought, the server said “whiskey sour,” to which I asked, “tequila sour?” He said, “yes of course, sorry, same presentation.” It was a whiskey sour, which was wrong, but decided to drink it as we didn’t see a server until the burrata was brought a while later. It was very good, but a lot of food for an appetizer. The main plates of seafood linguine (a lot of mussels and unpeeled shrimp, requiring a lot of handling of the food) and the filet of beef (ordered medium, arrived approaching rare), were also a LOT of food. And we are American. The taste was pretty good, but the steak cooked against order and some of the mussels not open.. eh… It was not possible to request more cooking due to the lack of attention from the servers. We were not even sure who our server was for the majority of the meal, as at least four people helped us. We were going to order dessert, but it took over 15 minutes for a server to return after asking for the menu. I had time to write this entire review before he returned for me to request the check, while he waited well on his friends who were seated directly next to us. It even took a long while to get the check. I think three stars is accurate, maybe generous, mostly based on service, partially based on food. Very pretty restaurant. Good drinks. I have to imagine better...
Read moreWe absolutely fell in love with this restaurant after stumbling upon it one afternoon for just a coffee and dessert - and wow, it was unreal! That one visit was all it took. A couple of days later, we booked a table for lunch, and that’s when our loyalty truly began.
The food is absolutely delicious; carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and most importantly, bursting with flavor!! Highly recommend the tuna tartare and the steak - (with mashed potatoes with truffle) both are next-level! And do yourself a favor: try the tiramisu speculoos… I’m still dreaming about it!
The staff is very friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s honestly rare to find a place in the South of France that gets everything right: amazing atmosphere, amazing food, and amazing service - all in one.
Since discovering it, we’ve come back four times and can’t stop raving about it to our friends. Be warned though - it’s dangerously...
Read moreA really nice restaurant along the harbor in Beaulieu where you have a direct view of the yachts. Great for lunch/dinner for a weekend getaway. We came here for lunch with a family of 7. The place was not busy. Waiters were nice and somewhat professional. Service was good but somehow she forgot one side dish so we had to ask for it. The food was amazing. Tiramisu was creamy and delicious. Cappuccino came with latte art (with the shape of heart or an apple on it) I ordered one beer and it came out as big as 65cl so make sure if you are a petite lady like me don’t forget to ask for the size first (they didn’t show in the menu). The price was reasonable. Food quality was good and quantity was just enough (no need to have an entree but still have some room for a dessert) We had a good and long lunch there. I would highly...
