The food is good, but the personal is so rude without any reason. Note that the place is called a CAFE and it says is for BREAKFAST/brunch, but apparently they get mad at you if you order a cake and a drink PER PERSON FOR BREAKFAST after queuing for 30 minutes because it’s “not enough” and you are “taking space”. I’ve rarely been treated so poorly by a waiter, they just kept having an attitude with us even if we freed the space in 10 minutes, if they have just treated us normally we would have left in 5 minutes and they would have gotten their overpriced 7.50€ for an orange juice without any issue. By the way, it seems like we were not an isolated case, since there was a girl alone after us that they made sit in a table for 3, just for coming back to her after 3 minutes yelling to her in french (she was clearly asking to speak in English) because she wasn’t supposed to sit there and they accused her to have skipped the queue. I just regret I haven’t left the place as soon as they treated us so bad, there were so many better places to support...

10 out of 5 stars, go out of your way to eat here! I wish I found this place at the beginning of my visit instead of the end. Croque madame was to die for - one of my favorite dishes of the week. It couldn't have been better and the brioche bread used was absolutely perfect. Salmon eggs Benedict also phenomenal - very fresh & flavorful. Our waitress was the sweetest woman and so welcoming. I adored her within minutes of sitting down. The place was very busy inside and outside but she still found time to chat with all the guests. When we were ready to pay, she let us know you pay inside, which is brilliant considering the spectacular dessert display as soon as you walk in the door. I had no intention of leaving with a slice of NY cheesecake but I couldn’t pass it up. It was AMAZING and had homemade whipped cream & berry syrup. The gentlemen working inside were all so nice. The staff truly made it a great experience on top of the incredible food and coffees. When I come back to Nice this will be the first place...

This place is quite popular with tourists, the food is OK but not really worth it for the price and our experience was not the best. After we were sat (the couch/chairs were low so not the most comfortable to eat) no one brought us the menu, we had to decide by checking it on Google and called someone to order. We asked for two breakfast dishes, two drinks, plus tap water. However the tap water wasn't brought, and we had to call someone else to ask for the water again. This took also a long time. When we were finishing eating the waiter started cleaning our table, even though I was finishing my last bite. I can see the place is popular and there is a queue, but we paid to eat and sit there to enjoy our breakfast, why do we need to hurry? When we were about to pay we were asked if everything had been ok, we said yes then we were told that we should tip, and pointed at the tip jar. For me this shows this place is just for foreigners, in no other restaurant had we been pressured for a tip. I can't really...

Edmond Cafe's popularity is undeniable, and it's wise to plan your visit before the rush hours to avoid the inevitable wait. However, I can't help but feel that the hype on social media may have set my expectations a bit too high. The place is bustling with activity, creating a lively atmosphere. Yet, the overall experience was just okay. The wait, coupled with the anticipation, might have contributed to a sense of letdown. The food, while decent, didn't quite live up to the rave reviews I had seen. It's possible that my visit coincided with an off day, but the overall impression was that of an overhyped spot. If you're a fan of trendy cafes and don't mind a wait, Edmond Cafe might still be worth checking out. However, I'd advise tempering expectations based on social media accolades. It's good, but not necessarily the groundbreaking experience I was led to believe.

EDMOND Café, nestled in the prime location of Nice, just a stone's throw from the Promenade des Anglais and the beach, is a delightful spot for all-day breakfast and brunch enthusiasts. The café's proximity to the sea makes it an ideal place to kickstart a day of seaside leisure. The eggs Benedict were a particular highlight, perfectly poached and draped in a velvety hollandaise sauce that was simply irresistible. The pancakes, fluffy and light, provided a sweet balance to the savory dish, ensuring a well-rounded meal. While the café's popularity is evident, with the potential for a wait before being seated, the quality of the food and the charm of the location make it well worth the patience. EDMOND Café is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a satisfying brunch with the backdrop of Nice's beautiful coastline
