We got there without reservation, and got seated. Place was full and atmosphere was quite good. It smelled amazing. Ordered some lemonade & lebanese wine. Lemonade was amazing. We ordered a lot of mezze, almost all of them. However, more than 45min later, nothing. The place was full but it's quite small so there were around 10 tables for 4 people inside. The food was constantly coming out but only for 2 tables, and they also had an insane amount of online orders. One of the cooks and service lady/waitress were arguing and yelling at eachother. Our food was not coming out for almost 1hr. After 55min of waiting, we got our food, which were just mostly cold mezze platters. One should not wait 55min for a hummus plate, cmon. I could have made that hummus myself in 55min wait. Falafel donuts were bad & tasted burnt. I absolutely didn't like them. All the other food was ok, but at the end of the day it was just cold mezze platters. For that wait time, it was overpriced and definitely not worth it. I had lebanese food in different cities & places in Europe and this one was not as impressive as I expected by reading the reviews. Kinda disappointed with the whole experience.
Also maybe they should not take the insane amount of online orders if they cannot even manage to serve people sitting in the restaurant...
Read moreStumbled upon this spot during our vacation in Nice after seeing it on tiktok. We ate at numerous high end and low end restaurants on our trip, and this place definitely blew them all out of the water. I'm from Michigan where we have a huge lebanese influence and some of the best lebanese food around, and this was much better than any i've ever had. We ended up eating here multiple times during our vacation and I still dream of it to this day. The staff was very kind, it is clean and very authentic. Everything tastes like it is made with love. We tried many items including chicken taouk, shawarma, hummus, potatoes, salad, tabouli, and kibbe. I have never had more flavorful and fresh lebanese food and that is coming from someone who is middle eastern and has eaten lebanese food their entire life. If I am ever back in Nice this is the first restaurant I...
Read moreThis is the ultimate place to get food in Nice. It is a small well decorated cafe with amazing ambiance right in the center of the action in Nice. It is away from the touristy cafes but close enough to cultural landmarks. They are big on take out so it's always an option when you want to enjoy it in your Airbnb or Hotel room. The food is authentic and delicious, you want to go back in their kitchen and see if your Teta is back there cooking. The service is phenomenal. We had a testy toddler who wouldn't try anything so they brought out rice and cucumbers for him that satisfied him! It's great for a date night as well as I mentioned that it is in a trendy area that is not too busy and great for walking to the Promenade de Anglais. Won't go anywhere else for Amazing Lebanese food when we...
