This was our favorite restaurant of our 8 night stay in Nice/Cote d'Azur, and the only restaurant we returned to for a second dinner. The pizza was excellent (though I am confused why margherita pizza in Nice doesn't have basil on it and is simply a cheese and tomato sauce pizza). The pasta was not overcooked - in fact they served the only pasta that wasn't overcooked of all the restaurants we ate at. I don't know why the Nice restaurants don't seem to know what al dente pasta is, but Dilizzi gets it right. The arugula salad was excellent. Salads in Nice were very hit or miss - some very good while others just chopped not-fresh lettuce underpinning the rest of the toppings. The arugula salad here was topped with very good sliced cherry tomatoes and melt in your mouth burrata cheese, and a balsamic dressing.

Another huge plus were some very good wine choices. So many restaurants in Nice offered low end bottles that rate in the mid 80's at best for wine ratings. The Corsican wines especially were excellent.

The standout for me was the ratatouille. This was the only restaurant we ate at that had ratatouille the menu. If you are a veggie lover, definitely add it to your order.

This restaurant is a little off the beaten path. It was convenient for us, but you have to veer off from the Rue de France maelstrom of touristy sidewalk cafes to find it. It is definitely...

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday at 6:30pm, last day of vacation. We were actually going to go to another place down the street but it was closed due to sickness, so we ended up here. We were the second visitors. The menu isn't huge if you don't want pizza, and so we went for pizza diavola and pasta a la vongole.

They were clearly short-staffed with two cooks and only one waiter up front, and I felt like every second group that saw us sit here stopped and thought "hey, what about this place?" and suddenly ten tables taken. Nonetheless, the waiter started by bringing us a small free cocktail to share (real good). The order was taken by one of the cooks. We were informed they ran out of sparkling water after ordering it. Paper towels and toilet paper were very low in the bathroom (they stocked up once I told them). But you know what, the food was great and we had a really great dinner for under 50 euros. Also, the waiter guy and whole team were so nice and they were just hustling all evening and they'd always drop by with something nice to say or check in and apologize a bit. Initially I was kind of afraid to finish our holiday on a downer, but this actually turned out to be one of the best dinners and memorable experiences of our trip. Well done team, you've got a lot of ❤️...

I was referred to Delizi Pizzeria by the Hotel across the street, the Windsor. I was in Nice to ride / race the Paris Nice Challenge cycling event, 130km (I am 72 years old and have a voracious appetite when training). I wanted a good lunch on Friday before the Saturday race. I was so pleased with the Delizi experience. The young lady that sat me down and took my order was brilliant, spoke English and super friendly. I ordered a special pizza and asked that the mozzarella be changed to chevre, no problem. I took half of the pizza back to my room and ate it later in the evening. I never eat much the evening before a big ride. The next day after the race while riding my bike back to the hotel I passed the restaurant and they recognized me. Despite my disheveled, appearance, bad hair, full lycra kit and bike in tow they invited me in, made me comfortable and brought me exactly what I needed as a post ride 14:00 lunch with wine. They even altered the pasta sauce to my liking. It was a great decision otherwise it would have been a long afternoon waiting for lesser restaurants to open at 19:00. I cannot recommend this wonderful restaurant enough. Apparently the owner is Corsican, a beautiful place that I long to visit. If you are in Nice it is a hidden...

The best pizza and side salad! The food was so fresh and delicious, the meal could not have been better. A great experience and such kind employees working here. You must go!
