A truly beautiful place to visit when you're in Nice. Whether you're just strolling along the promenade or going for a swim, it's available for all your needs. During the day, you can, of course, swim wonderfully; the water is usually a good temperature. Tip: bring a thicker towel and water shoes, as the stony beach can be scorching hot during the day. It's also close to the city, restaurants, shops, and other interesting places to visit. It's also a perfect spot in the evenings. Lots of people, comfortable chairs for enjoying the sunset, or watching live music on the promenade. The location is easily accessible by public transport, including tram and bus. Even walking from the station is an option. It's also relatively easy to get there by car, by parking in the parking garage. Don't forget to take your important belongings out of the car, of course!

The French Riviera, known as the Côte d'Azur in French, is a renowned Mediterranean coastline in the southeastern corner of France. It is famous for its stunning landscapes, glamorous lifestyle, and charming towns and cities. Nice is one of the main city of the French Riviera and the capital of the Alpes-Maritimes department. It's known for the long pebble beach with turquoise water, Promenade des Anglais, vibrant markets, and the charming Old Town (Vieux Nice). Enjoy dishes such as bouillabaisse (fish stew), socca (chickpea pancake), and ratatouille (vegetable stew). The region is famous for its rosé wines, particularly from the vineyards around Provence. Best time to visit is between April-June(spring) and September-October (Fall) The region is well-connected by train, making it easy to travel between cities and offers a lot to explore.

We visited Plage de Carras in November, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The beach offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, but it wasn’t very clean during our visit – perhaps due to the off-season. The beach is quite rocky, which might not be the most comfortable option in the summer, especially if you’re planning to sunbathe or spend hours lounging. There was only one café open, which felt normal for November, but we didn’t check it out. The atmosphere was very quiet, perfect for a peaceful walk or some relaxation by the water. The water itself looked clean, and surprisingly, there were even a few brave souls swimming! Parking or easy access wasn’t apparent, which could be inconvenient for some visitors. Still, it’s a scenic spot worth exploring if you enjoy tranquility and natural beauty.

If you're looking for a beautiful and relaxing beach experience in Nice, then Plage de Carras is definitely worth a visit. This place is an excellent spot for soaking up the sun and enjoying the refreshing Mediterranean waters.

The beach has a charming and friendly atmosphere that makes it feel like a home away from home. Visitors are likely to enjoy the calm waves and clear water, which are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and other water sports activities. The beach is well-maintained, and there are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas available for rent.

One unique aspect of Plage de Carras is the stunning view of the hills and the coastline. This picturesque view adds to the relaxing ambiance of the beach. The beach also has several restaurants and cafes, where visitors can enjoy a meal or a drink while taking in the beautiful view.

While the beach is generally a great experience, one downside is that it can get crowded during peak season. This can make it challenging to find a good spot to set up your beach gear. Additionally, the beach can get a bit noisy due to the number of visitors.

To improve the experience, the beach could benefit from additional lifeguards, especially during peak season. It would also be helpful if the beach offered more shade options to protect visitors from the sun's heat.

Overall, Plage de Carras is a lovely place to visit and highly recommended. The beautiful scenery, friendly atmosphere, and relaxing beach experience make it a must-visit spot in Nice. I would definitely consider coming back, and I highly recommend this beach to anyone...
