Our very first meal stop in Nice, and one we were really looking forward to! The restaurant is tucked just off the right side of Nice Harbour, a little further from the Old Town, making it a cozy spot away from the main crowds.
We ordered the pasta and a charcuterie platter. While the presentation could use a little polish, the flavors more than made up for it. The pasta was perfectly cooked to European standards, with a meat sauce that was rich, authentic, and not overly salty. The charcuterie selection was fresh and paired beautifully with their bread and olive oil. To finish, the espresso was exactly what we needed—bold and satisfying.
The service was warm and welcoming, and even though the menu doesn’t have English translations, the staff spoke excellent English and were happy to help.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Nice. And fun fact: the owner is a dead ringer...

From the start, the person who served us guided us to a wonderful sparkling wine from Italy. The tempura style calimari with a red pepper sorbet was a brilliant pairing. Read moreThe swordfish and pasta were good, but the tiramisu was inedible. The crust was hard and chewy as if it was old. The one server at the restaurant (a bald old man) was absolutely terrible. He was rude, wouldnt bring us our food and even delayed the billing. When i finally got tired and went to the bar to place our order, he kept exasperately talking at me telling me “madam, im working.” Sir, if you were doing your job i wouldn’t have to come to the bar to order my own food.
