Etna Rosso — Restaurant in Nice

Unfortunately our experience was not as good as others who've reviewed. We had high hopes but the food just didn't live up to expectations. My pasta with prawns had curdled sauce and the prawns looked as if they had been boiled, so were soggy and mushy. They also had not been de-veined so were unappealing. My pasta was quite undercooked, even for Al Dente. My husband did enjoy his ravioli but he only got 5 pieces, leaving him very hungry. For the price we did expect a slightly larger portion. The bread was also quite stale. No one asked how our meal was and although I barely ate mine nothing was said as plates were taken away. Delightful little family owned restaurant. Truly a hidden gem! The food was different from any Italian food I've had before in my life. The menu is small, which is a good thing, as you can tell how much went into making each dish. The Spaghetti with clams...absolutely amazing. The tiramisu was incredible! Different from any other tiramisu I've had. Very attentive service. The whole family works hard to make sure it's an enjoyable experience.
