There were couple of flaws but everything else was excellent. I will only mention the flaws: 1. There was a crab appetizer and my wife had little shells in hers. Mine was fine. We raised that to the waitress and she said that she is sorry and for this level of restaurant I expected some compensation but none was given. 2. Our waitress had a heavy French accent and I didn't understand half of what she explained about the menu. For some reason she was replaced at some point with another waiter, a man who spoke very quietly. It was strange how the waitress disappeared. 3. We had the exploration menu and the second and last dessert was a disappointing finish. It was constructed of 6 small plates where the first three were bland, the mango mousse was sweet and ok, the toffee candy was extremely sweet and the last candy was bitter but interesting. I think the dessert was good on its own but the food beforehand was so delicious that this dessert didn't do it justice. 4. As other reviewers had mentioned it took a long time for the food to be served since they wait for all of the tables and serve them at the same time. At the end we were anxious to leave since we were sitting for 4 hours and half now. After we left the chef chased us on the street to say thank you which was sweet but if they have this intention maybe somehow the waiter should have told us so we could wait for him inside. I definitely expected more compared to the other 2 star restaurant I have been in Paris but we were overall satisfied with the experience.

There are few two-stars Michelin restaurants nearby. I visited two of them during this holiday. Unfortunately, I think I got the hopes up too high. As much as I really appreciated the effort the chef made (some of them are good enough to get stars), this place seemed to have room for some improvements. Especially, the hospitality and the service was definitely not qualified for Michelin two stars restaurant based on my experiences. It had taken more than 30 mins to have the next dish in some case since they took the previous dish away and I think it took almost 6 hours to finish the dinner. (They might have had some communication miss during the serve...) It's okay to have some proud as a Michelin restaurant, but it was a bit nuisance to see the attitude of the server. It was not only us to think that way, because the other people around me actually said the same. I haven't felt that way when even I visited several higher-ranked restaurants in Paris or the other cities ever. I felt a bit sorry for a promising and talented restaurant to be evaluated this way. Last but not least, it might be not the best place for Asian tourists for some reason. If you taste the dishes, you can easily acknowledge the familiar Asian touch. It may be not a kinda restaurant you expect when it comes to French dining. (It's a matter of getting used to it. Western people may possibly think different way)

The food was fantastic! Truly loved the food and for the food alone I would gladly return. The service was not up to standard however, the staff were lovely and clearly trying but only 2 members of front of house staff was not enough, even despite the small number of tables. In addition, the service was incredibly slow. Approx 6 hours in total. In addition we arrived 2 minutes early but they were not ready to seat anyone until several minutes after our booking time - this wouldn’t be a frustration in a typical restaurant but given the expected standard it was a surprise. My final negative for the service was that one of my group had a severe nut allergy, which was advised ahead of time, while initially they made substitutions to accommodate, several courses were served on a plate of nuts, and our dessert contained several different types of nuts on different dishes. This was pointed out to them when they explained the dish and the resolution was to take the food from my guest and give it to me. While I appreciate the extra portion this is not an appropriate resolution and it is incredibly lucky we noticed the nuts instead of eating the food as this would have caused immediate anaphylaxis and potentially death. I want to emphasise that this was a terrific experience and I solely hope my comments help to improve the experience in future. Many thanks for your work, truly appreciated.

It hurts me to give this restaurant a less than 5 star rating since the food itself, which is obviously everything that a restaurant revolves around, was superb.

Everything was delicious, creative, and visually perfect. Kudos to the chef.

Unfortunately, food is not the only part of the equation, service is another. Things started off poorly when they did not have sommelier on staff so for someone who does not know much about wines but knows what they want to taste, this was a bummer. Speaking of staff, there was only one to speak of. And he did not seem to be fully trained yet, not knowing what was he serving, or anything about the menu. The chef(?) sorry I tried to compare his image to the photos and could not make a definitive match, but I believe he was. He was amazing and knowledgeable, but the service was not the strong suit of the night.

We had the 9 course meal without a pairing and clocked in at an astonishing 4.5 hours. That clocks in at half an hour per dish(?!). I am perfectly fine with a 5 hour meal, but we'd be talking about a 15+ course meal here. Pacing is such an important part of dining, you dont want long periods of time without anything coming out. We spent most of the night staring at an empty table. No recommendations on wines to drink or anything, just empty glasses and table. What could have been a great experience, turned out to make me crying tears of boredom towards the end.

I dont understand how can a 2-starred restaurant be so poorly staffed and trained, so please I hope they can fix this issue because the food...

This is to share our experience for parents who would like to bring their young child.

My husband surprised me with a dinner at this restaurant for our 10 year anniversary and my birthday. We brought our 9 month old baby with us and he was sleeping at first but woke up after a while. Generally he was quiet but made some exciting noises like any other baby does. He was not crying or making loud noises.

Unfortunately, after 2 hours we were informed that another guest had complained of us having our baby with us. The solution would be for one of us to eat and the other to stand in the back near the kitchen/toilet with the baby. This was not acceptable and we decided to leave. No matter how much we were looking forward to the food or how much we would have to pay for leaving early, we will not have dinner alone whilst the other half is standing in a corner with the baby. The tables next to us were perfectly happy with us bringing the baby and were sad to see us leave.

Unfortunately by that time no other restaurants were open so ended up on this special day eating junk food... This review is not to criticise the restaurant, although their comments when we decided to leave (eg "a fish has died for you", "here is the food you were to be served next") were not very professional, however this review is to inform other parents that think about bringing their young children along.

Food till this point was good but we only had 2 out...
