This was my boyfriend and I’s first dinner on holiday with my parents. This is our first holiday together as a couple and the restaurant overlooks the port. It was very romantic when the sun began to set.
I had the crispy cod burger for dinner. It tasted very fresh and was well seasoned. It came with an accompanying side of potato wedges, done in a herb butter.
My other half had spaghetti and clams. There was so much seafood in it, that I was nearly finished when he had finally de shelled all the clams. He said it was excellent, though with the amount of garlic in the dish, I couldn’t kiss him until he brushed his teeth when we got home.
My mother got a pile of fresh prawns, which she said was very tasty. She didn’t share any with us so it must have been good, or maybe she is just shellfish (hahaha see what I did there haha)
For desert we both had La Brioche which was a marvel. I would come back solely to have it again. Cinnamon flavoured bread with toffee sauce and vanilla ice-cream - what’s not to like?
I do have a couple of criticisms: Lack of variety in the starters. No side orders on the menu. The portions were ample for us but that is not necessarily clear...
