Absolutely a terrible experience. I just entered the restaurant and said good evening and that I have a reservation. I was told that the restaurant is fully booked even though I had made a reservation on their own website. First I was told that I had made my reservation too late. However, I had a confirmation. After having heard that I insisted on being seated outdoors, there came another person explaining the same in English. However, I had not said anything of my wishes where to be seated. The attitude of the personnel was hostile and rude. I decided to leave the place immediately. I was a solo traveller having a decent dress code and I was sober. I also speak French fluently. Hopefully you find these comments useful.

Read moreI visited for Sunday lunch and had a lovely & warm experience. I made a reservation but it seemed like there was enough seats for spontaneous walk-ins as well! I was served by a kind lady who was managing the service all by herself. Though she was very busy, she was still very attentive and made an effort to make me feel comfortable. Knowing there was a language barrier, she tried her best to tell me about the different dishes and how best to eat them :-) I had escargots (absolutely YUMMY!!), bouillabaisse (largeee portion) and Evian water. Read moreI didn’t have the chance to taste the food. Me and my daughter were literally kicked out of the restaurant when we said that we will not eat immediately (I said that we will START with the drinks).
The restaurant was half-empty, even though it was lunch time. However, the arrogant waiter told me that we must move to the nearby bar.
This was the lowest level of customer service which I have observed for the past 10 years as Head of Marketing (including leading marketing teams of hospitality venues).
I can understand their policy and would appreciate if they politely apologize and ask me to order something instead of directly kicking me out with my child.
