La Pizze — Restaurant in Nice

In the Villefranche-sur-Mer area, we went into a place under the name of an Italian restaurant because it looked crowded, but we left disappointed and still hungry. Even though we said our order was ready, they took other people’s orders first and came to us very late. It takes about half an hour for your food to arrive. While waiting, you get so hungry that you feel like you’d eat anything—but that wasn’t the case at all. The staff are completely unaware of what good service means; for the drink, the slice of lemon we asked for was brought by hand. I had the worst tomato sauce pasta of my life. The pizza was undercooked, just raw dough—practically uncooked. I don’t understand how such simple recipes could turn out so bad. Recently visited this restaurant midweek around 2pm (at the end of lunch service). The restaurant was almost empty and there was a very relaxing atmosphere at the outdoor seating in the small square. I had the vegetarian pizza minus the cheese (to make it vegan) and a beer. Service was quick and I couldn't fault the meal. Prices here were much better than other places nearby that were serving pizza. The waitress stayed slightly later than the advertised opening hours and then advised me she had to lock the restaurant but I was welcome to stay in the outdoor seating as long as I wanted. I love thin soft stretchy dough and they do that perfectly 👌 and the amount of cheese is perfect..not thick n chewy .

However I'm not a big fan of the amount of oregano they put on the pizzas . We ordered a Margherita and tuna and they both had oregano taking away from the other flavours.

If they agree to remove the oregano for me I'd def re order . Also I was expecting to taste more teriyaki flavour on the tuna (as it says on the menu) but I couldn't really detect it.

Staff were nice but they told me it would take 20mins and it took 40mins (had a take away). I think this was because there only seems to be 2 members of staff and they had a delivery order to...
