Was led here by the convenient location, reasonable prices and good reviews; of which it is not deserving. The staff were friendly enough, besides the fact that we were served by a new member of the staff for every interaction. Unfortunate, as one of them did not speak english and could therefore not rectify a mistake made with the drinks.
We got the wrong size of drinks, which was not even proper cold. The accompanying bread was stale. I ordered the Cod, which was quite disappointing. It was not a proper filet, but a rough cut with a fair amount of bones. The "steamed vegetables" were just plain steamed vegetables, of the same quality as frozen vegetables you make in the oven. The potatoes tasted of nothing. The accompanying boiled egg was overboiled, unseasoned, hard, and straight up inedible.
My wife had the burger. First of all, the English translation of the menu online does not convey that it is a burger, just something about minced meat and some accessories (which was the filling, apparently). The French Fries had no salt. The burger tasted fine, but nothing to write home about.
I am usually easy to please, but this left both me and my wife wanting. We left as soon as we could. A tourist trap for sure, and a true disappointment. Not even worth the...
Read moreThe staff here were fantastic, very friendly and helpful, they were unfortunately let down by their colleagues in the kitchen. Cod croquettes with seemingly 0 Cod in at all, fried baby squid which had not been prepared correctly and still contained ink sacks and the cuttlebone, sausage in tomato sauce was very lemongrass heavy which is a strange ingredient for Nicoise cooking. Chickpea salad was fine. Stuffed sardines were oily and not fresh. I was actually ill the night after eating here and will not...
