We went here for a lunch after reading great reviews on here. Service was friendly, yet super slow as the restaurant was understaffed. There were only 2 workers, one of which also had to do the drinks. The second girl was new, so she wasn’t very quick either. However, as a former restaurant employee myself, I know it’s their bosses fault. (Hope they see it) The octopus was good, except the sauce doesn’t fit that well in my opinion. (The sauce was kinda Indian-spicy) Cheeseburger was tasty and the tacos with shrimp tempura were the best of all. The cocktails were just okay, sadly we couldn’t get the evening menu special ones. If you like cold chips with bottled grocery store nacho cheese, this is the place for you. I have seriously NEVER had a worse serving of nachos in my life, I am astonished at how this place has this high of a rating. The nachos didn’t even come with guacamole, salsa or creme fraiche / sour cream. The white stuff on top is more reminiscent of a gooey mayonnaise, which is frankly DISGUSTING. Furthermore, some idiot sitting at the table next to us was yelling the whole time, and the waiters did not care at all. Hardly surprising though, as the waiters did not seem to care about their customers at all.

Despite my instinct, (the restaurant is on a tourist trap street - restaurants that have pictures of the food type) I decided to try Loka as the 4.7 punctuation seemed solid. The food was regular, on the down side. The French fries were a bit burned - I suggest to change the oil or the chef-, the salad was cut in little pieces and it was tasteless really. The staff were friendly, which was nice. On the outside area, there were people smoking everywhere, so if you are not smoking, that can be tough.
