Le Québec — Restaurant in Nice

A friend and I came to this restaurant after looking at their menu and finding something we would enjoy. We ordered our food and made sure to point at the menu and everything and the waiter understood our order but did not write it down. He later comes back with 2 dishes that were not the dishes we ordered. Clearly he had brought a different tables order to us. My friend and I said that was not our order and he said that they do not have the items we ordered (although on their menu and ordered perfectly fine). A different waiter then brought my friend her correct order at the same time (they had it ready made) and the waiter still continued to say they didn’t have mine, was very rude and yelled and left the wrong order in front of me. He did not come over to check in again. I did not touch the plate at all as it was COMPLETELY not what I ordered and I still got charged for the whole meal although untouched when he came to pick it up. I never write negative reviews but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I ordered penne pasta with salmon and white sauce and he gave me a salad with tuna,...

We asked for water and they brought a bottle of water which seemed different with what everyone else has on their table but he already opened it quickly, so it's too late for us to say anything, and turns out that water is over €6 almost €7 Yes 7 for water that tasted like tap water anyway. Everyone else's table had free tap water.

Food was bad as well, we ordered pizza, honestly the worst ever. The dough was ok but the sauce and cheese was bad. And once It's cooled down it's even worse. The toppings separated from the dough, so it's like eating a chunk of toppings, then a chunk of dough, with no flavor. I had to add crazy amount of salt and pepper on top.

Don't get me started on salad either. Like other comments mentioned, It's not fresh and tasteless because there is just a tiny bit of sauce on it. No olive oil or balsamic vinegar or anything. Basically just plain grass. I felt like a cow chewing on grass.

It's a typical tourist restaurant and it's just sad that locals come here too. Is this what you have to eat when there is much better food nearby?

OUR SERVER NABIL INSULTED US AS HE WALKED BY IN FRENCH THINKING WE WOULDN’T UNDERSTAND. DISGUSTING AND UNACCEPTABLY POOR BEHAVIOR.

Had the absolute WORST experience with our server NABIL. We already had dinner at another restaurant, but saw that the pizza looked good and wanted to stop by for a snack. I could tell that our server Nabil started to give us a bad attitude since we didn’t order much. This was just the beginning to our HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. He even said no and acted like he was too busy when we asked him to take a photo for us. We only spoke to him in English, but I understand French. At the end of dinner, he was so petty that he walked by and INSULTED and CURSED at us in French. Specially also said I was “retardée”. What on earth? I hope management sees this. No matter what the situation is, the server should never insult and curse at a customer. Extremely disappointed in this establishment and the disgusting service that Nabil provides.
