This place is absolutely perfect. The owner is this lovely man who provides two breakfast choices. The Larger of the breakfasts includes two homemade jams (I was served strawberry with mint and banana rum. INCREDIBLE), a croissant, toast, an egg, cheese and some meats. We have been in the south of France for a week, and so far, this is my favorite lunch spot. It's like an oasis of calm and comfort. The owner has an eye for decoration, is hospitable, and is a good cook, as well. There will be a limited number of choices each day, but don't worry about that - if you were eating at your friend's house, you wouldn't have this many choices, but you'd still be happy. We really enjoyed our trip to the restaurant. Although there were not many choices on the menu, the food was homely and good quality. (We had chicken curry and veal.) The same goes for the wine- The choice was red/ white/ rose - less is more was true on this occasion. The red was one of the best I've had on my trip to Nice.
