Quilombo — Restaurant in Nice

Very rude,

My wife and I were looking for a place to eat and we stumbled across Quilombo. Sometimes we like being spontaneous but on the day after sitting down and looking at the menu we didn't feel in the mood for what they had to offer. We both said to each other we just didn't fancy a steak but it would be nice to come back another day. My wife we inside and politely said we wasn't going to eat here but we'll be back another night. The waiter said that we reserved a place (we didn't) and that it was our choice to eat here. Well yeah, but also it's our choice not to as well we didn't order anything and plenty of spaces free so not like we wasted their time?! The waiter made my wife feel uncomfortable and got very snappy and make us pay €6 for water we didn't ask for. Food looked amazing but sadly we won't return for the...

Looking for a decent steak on our last night in Nice and so very pleased to have found this place. Great location at the end of the promenade without being too touristy in a slightly more discreet location.

An attentive and friendly waiter in a more relaxed, informal atmosphere. The steaks were top quality and the fries some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Salad was also delicious and perfect accompaniment.

Can’t comment on wine selections as we don’t drink but heard several recommendations being given to compliment meats.

Finished off with a tasty homemade tiramisu.

Reasonably priced coming at around 115€ for couple (Mains, pudding and soft drinks). Would definitely recommend and likely to return when we’re next in...

As someone who lives in Nice and has tried countless restaurants, I can confidently say Quilombo is my top restaurant in the city. It’s more than just a meal – it’s an experience! Gaspard and Phillipé are the heart and soul of this place. They’re the nicest, most fun-loving guys, and their energy creates an incredible atmosphere that keeps you coming back.

The food? Absolutely to die for. The starter mixing platter is a must, and the beef cuts are truly next level – some of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked every single time.
