We are a family of four that visited in June 2022.
We have visited Iranian restaurants around the world, including in Iran, and this is by far one of the best Iranian food experiences we have ever had.
We enjoyed it so much that we even returned for a second time on our last day in Nice and continued experiencing the exquisite food the restaurant has to offer. The restaurant was extremely accommodating and even assisted with altering a dish to make the Fesenjoon vegan (no meat) – which in its simplicity; was divine! All of our food was absolutely excellent – from the starters, to the mains and desserts (the traditional ice-cream and faloodeh was just like in Iran!).
We tried most of the menu over our two visits (we loved it so much we went back again during our short trip) and all of the dishes were full of flavour and made to the highest standard.
The staff, including the host, were extremely kind and welcoming to us. If you are looking for high-quality food generally and particularly Iranian food, this is a must visit for everyone!
We cannot wait to go back again and was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to Nice. An...
Read moreI recently tried the Joojeh kebab and Kashke bademjan at a Persian restaurant, hoping for an authentic culinary experience.
Unfortunately, the disappointment was overwhelming. The Joojeh kebab was overpriced at 23 euros for a single skewer, which was masked with excessive lemon to conceal its old taste and it was sour.
Regrettably, the quality did not match the price. Additionally, the Kashke bademjan lacked authenticity, with vegetables tasting stale and the dish drowned in generic fried onions (visible in the first picture), far from the genuine Persian flavors I expected.
The high prices further added to the disappointment, making this dining experience a complete letdown. Overall, I rate this meal 0/10 for both...
Read moreThis is a very nice restaurant, well located, with cocktails and nice outdoor seating. Their specialty is Iranian cuisine. I generally order kebabs in Iranian restaurants but they offer different types of traditional dishes as well.
I ordered the beef kebab with rice. The kebab was delicious, juicy, and well cooked. I was, however, disappointed in the rice as it was really dry and appeared stale. I did not eat all of it. They had a bit of Iranian style yogurt on the side that was too salty and almost inedible. But, I wanted a good kebab and I got it. I would definitely go back and try other dishes and eat kebab again, but skip the rice. The server was very nice and friendly and the setting with the view was...
