I had dinner tonight at Saydawi Restaurant. It’s especially nice that this place serves food in the late afternoon and early evening as well the usual hours for lunch and dinner.
This small restaurant has a humble presence in the shadows of trees on Rue Pastorelli but you can smell the delicious blend of olive oil and herbs from meters away. Its narrow sidewalk window makes it appear to be more of a takeout place than a sit down restaurant. Do not be deceived! In the back, up a couple of stairs to the right, there is a cozy section of tables with red upholstered benches and warm lighting. It is a pleasing atmosphere for romantic couples and families alike.

I will definitely return to Saydawi Restaurant. Thank you for the tasty, nourishing...
