Tucked away in the heart of Nice, Les Mimosas des Cours offers a charming atmosphere perfect for a casual evening out. While the ambiance and drinks stood out as highlights of the visit, the food experience was a bit mixed.
I tried the gnocchi, which, while comforting, didn’t quite reach the heights I’ve come to expect from similar dishes elsewhere—pleasant but not particularly memorable. On the other hand, the chickpea fries served with tomato sauce were a delightful surprise. Crisp on the outside, soft within, and paired with a tangy sauce that gave the dish a unique character. It’s always refreshing to encounter something a little off the beaten path.
The drinks were well-crafted and enjoyable, rounding out the meal on a positive note. All in all, Les Mimosas des Cours is worth a visit for a relaxed drink and a few bites, especially if you’re curious to try something a bit different from...
Read moreWe dined here for our last night in Nice, and it was a fantastic experience. Made a reservation by phone, and they were super friendly and helpful. The enclosed terrace was heated perfectly. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service from Ramzi and manager Jeremy was outstanding. Highly recommend the oeufs mimosa, the socca, socca frites to start. The beef stew gnocchi was excellent, as were the pizzas (they let my friend and me do half of one pizza/half of the other, which was awesome.) And seriously, the Niçoise salade was the best salad I've ever had.
Brioche perdu and creme brulee were excellent at the end of the meal. We had cocktails to start, appetizers, main courses, a bottle of rosé, desserts, and some of us had coffee at the end, and it ended up being only about $50 per...
Read moreWOW I would award this place more stars if it were possible. Very friendly service and GREAT FOOD.
Located in the old town, it is by far superior to anything else we have had while in Nice.
My husband had the Gnocchi with Burrata and I had special fish with steamed vegetables with olive oil.
The fish (cod) was delicately prepared and cooked to perfection and the vegetables were perfectly cooked as well ( they were still firm and not soggy or overcooked). My dish was accompanied by a garlic aioli that was also delish.
The Gnocchi, well I can’t say much about it because my husband inhaled his food, and all he kept saying is that the gnocchi was perfect and the taste of the sauce was delicate.
If you’re looking for a good place with good food and not the traditional tourist...
