Vini Vini Fish N'Chill — Restaurant in Papeete

Whoa, guys this place is it. We came here the night of Dec 30th and it so happened they had a live band playing local music. So of course, we sat outside to enjoy dinner and a show. If you'd rather sit inside, they've got full air conditioning on blast.

As far as the food and service, was easily my favorite restaurant in all of Papeete. The most popular fish burger is the first one in the list, the "Papaina"... it's so good. And a good portion size as well. The Chirashi tuna and salmon was also so good, there's a bed of rice underneath and it comes with two sauces.

We wanted to try the poke bowls, but they had already sold out of that on this day unfortunately.

The strawberry frozen drink was also irresistible.

Finally, the staff was 10 out of 5, they did an amazing job, thank you. Prices are very very fair.

The food here is fantastic and appropriately priced. Really good, casual spot to bring kids. Our 9 year old and 4 year old loved the fish burger and tuna fish sticks (adults too). They liked it so much we came back a second time. The tartine and sushi were very good. Poki bowl was decent.

Only criticism is that both times we ate here the staff forgot one of the items we ordered. Both times we were waiting and waiting for everyone's food to arrive before eating and they simply forgot to complete the order and we had to be proactive to ask them to check on it. This seems like a common issue with Tahiti service because we experienced the same at other venues too.

Grand habitué de vini vini, les 3 dernières fois ont été une catastrophe ! En moyenne, 1h pour être servis, une minorité des collaborateurs de vini sont désagréables et mette en vrac le service. Au bout d’1h, le plat est arrivé froid. Nous avons demandé à le rechauffer et la serveuse a soufflé... Nous avons subit également des remarques deplacées. Les plats qui sont arrivés sur table n’étaient pas ceux commandés. Un réel problème sur le vini vini du front de mer. Il faut agir, ce n'est pas un service isolé, ce sont mes 3 dernières expériences et avant ça c’était super. Il y a eu un changement d’équipe, j’encourage la direction à mener son enquête ou à venir voir discrètement par elle-même. Les personnes qui travaillent localement ne...
