A Smorfia Pizzeria — Restaurant in Paris

We weren't sure what to expect from A Smorfia Pizzeria -- we reserved a space (through The Fork) and were the first table for lunch. The staff were very attentive but the restaurant remained empty for a while. As our food was being prepared, a few more tables came in, but it was never super busy. But the pizza is SO good!! And very reasonably priced (between €10 and €20 each), and they were large enough that we could have shared one.

We got the margherita and carciofatta pizzas. Both were delicious but I slightly preferred the margherita because the acid of the tomato was great with the small mozzarella pieces and the soft yet crispy pizza dough.

Had no chance to try the food, I was with my daughter, and we ordered a pizza to share. Were told to order two pizzas or leave and not occupy the table. We left. I can see the response of the owner, and this is a lie. We had no drinks, my daughter held an empty coke bottle because there was no garbage bin, that's it. And the table was not reserved, as we were welcomed, seated, we had a chance to look at the menu and order, and the waiter was nice. However, the owner wanted us to leave. I guess his response below tells more about the level of customer service...

Un angolo di Napoli a Parigi Siamo stati da A Smorfia e abbiamo avuto la sensazione di viaggiare a Napoli senza muoverci da Parigi. Locale accogliente, atmosfera calorosa e personale gentilissimo che ti fa sentire subito a casa. La pizza è davvero napoletana autentica: impasto leggero e digeribile, con lunga lievitazione e ingredienti freschi di grande qualità. Ho provato la margherita e una pizza con burrata al tartufo: entrambe eccezionali. Un dettaglio che ci ha colpito: siamo stati accolti direttamente dalla proprietaria, incinta, che con grande sorriso e professionalità gestiva il locale. È stato bellissimo vedere come una donna sappia unire amore per la famiglia e passione per il suo ristorante, continuando a lavorare con dedizione anche in questo momento speciale della sua vita. Il servizio è rapido e sorridente, e il prezzo (circa 20-25 € a persona) è più che giusto per la qualità offerta.
