It had been a while since I’d been back to this restaurant which I was happy to see has also opened up a more tapas oriented wine bar across the street. The food was excellent and creative. My braised white asparagus starter was tasty and not excessively fibrous. I had the skate fish which was interestingly stripped off its cartilage and re-assembled with a lovely sauce and chorizo chips for texture contrast. My friend ordered the confit veal that had been slow cooked for 7 hours which tasted fantastic ! I absolutely loved my dessert which was a strawberry rhubarb tart with an amazing sorbet. The pistachio financier was also really really good ! As always excellent wine list, well paced service and warm environment....

We found the dishes not bad but also not exceptional. For me it was too fat: First dish I took fresh tomatoes (excellent ones) with burrata sauce that was very fat. For main I took grilled (?) sardines that was very oily so I returned them and took instead a fish that was really delicious but the brocolis smash that came with it had way too much cream.

I’ve already been several times and would strongly recommend both the brunch (with the cocktail of the day!!!) and dinner menus. The two chefs (Tiphaine and Romain) are from Savoie and the Béarn respectively, and have pulled inspiration for their dishes from their regions. The wine menu is also based on this fusion.
