Al Solito Posto — Restaurant in Paris

This is the worst place I've ever seen! My children were hungry but we were refused. We were obliged to buy a dish each, but when I explained that I was not hungry, but the children were hungry, we were told to leave and that service was not possible. I have never met such terrible service in any country before!!!! 🤬 After ordering we were visited six times by the staff (all of them and even the kitchen) and finally kicked out! Shame on you!!!! Never and nobody go to this place!!!! The worst place!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬 We explained the situation fully - we came and said we wanted to feed the children (there were two children!) and said that the adults were not hungry. The place was two tables full! And you kicked us out. We weren't going to have one pizza for everyone. I explained to the waitress and then to the rest of the staff that I wanted to feed the children! On what was put out on the street! We visited this Italian restaurant in Paris with high expectations but unfortunately left disappointed. From the very beginning, the service was unwelcoming. The first waiter appeared visibly annoyed as we were placing our orders, which set the tone for the rest of the evening.

We requested tap water — which, as per French regulations, should be provided free of charge — yet our request was ignored multiple times. It took asking four different waiters before we finally received a single bottle for eight people.

The pasta was average at best, and the pizza, which was advertised as Neapolitan, was disappointing. One of my friends received a pizza with a crust that was still raw. When we brought this to the staff’s attention, the waiter defensively insisted that this is how Neapolitan pizza is supposed to be — a claim we verified as false.

Overall, the staff was inattentive, unhelpful, and visibly irritated throughout our visit. They rarely checked in on the table, and the lack of professionalism significantly impacted our dining experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant based...

This is not traditional Italian food. The menu is not traditional. The taste is not traditional. It’s more of a touristic western version in my taste.

Do not mistake, it tastes not bad at all, but a gnocchi dish covered with a ton of Mozzarella cheese is nothing I ever found in Italy. The parmesan cheese is not authentic, something I find in low-end restaurants.

Portions are big and prices are good, and as I wrote about the taste - it’s not bad.

There is 0 chance that our experience was affected by a temporary problem. Just look at the menu and you will know.
