Nestay Les Halles — Hotel in Paris

We chose this hotel over an Airbnb, paying extra with the expectation of 24-hour front desk service, in-person check-in, and housekeeping. Unfortunately, none of these services were provided. Upon arrival, we realized it was self-check-in using a code. While staff members were occasionally present, housekeeping was nonexistent. If you have questions about operating appliances like the microwave or stove, good luck finding assistance.

Since there was no housekeeping, our trash can was overflowing by the last day, and we ran out of toilet paper during our four-night stay. Despite the lack of services, the property still adheres to hotel policies like check-in after 3 pm and check-out before 11 am, yet expects guests to do the dishes before departure, similar to an Airbnb. This mixed approach left me confused about the business model.

On the positive side, the place was spotless, the staff we did encounter were kind and helpful, and the location was excellent—safe and conveniently right next to the train station for easy commuting.

I was skeptical when booking, as it was a newer hotel with predominantly 5 star reviews. I have to say I was impressed. The room (603) was spacious. The shower was fantastic. Everything that was needed was provided. We were able to drop our bags off earlier on the day we arrived, and leave them after check out. Washing machines are available for use for free.

One of my biggest concerns was around the pull out couch, as we were 4 adults. To my surprise, it exceeded my expectations. It had slats, not just the middle bar, and so made for a supportive bed frame.

This was my first time staying at Nestay and I can honestly say this is the best stay in Paris if you’re looking for something that gives a more local feel! I am starting to come more often for work and wanted somewhere larger that feels like home. The apartments are beautiful & brand new. The finishes are luxe & modern, the service is amazing & location is super central to everywhere you want to go in Paris. The staff is truly so kind and helpful and did everything in their power to ensure we had the best stay. I also had important packages delivered for work & they were handled with care, delivered directly to my apartment. Truly the best stay. I can’t wait...
