It had been a very long time since I last returned to Café Beaubourg, and I was curious to rediscover the place. I had noticed that the rating on this platform was not particularly high (below 4), but I still wanted to make up my own mind. Overall, I was personally welcomed and served quite well, which allowed me to enjoy my break.

However, I observed a situation that I found rather unfortunate. Two Asian tourists sat at a table close to mine and waited for more than fifteen minutes without anyone approaching them, even though there were only about a dozen people seated on the terrace at that time (Sunday, August 17th, around 4 pm). Discouraged, they eventually left without ordering. I am not sure whether the young waiter with mid-length curly hair simply did not notice them, but the end result was that they left with a negative impression.

I find this regrettable because, beyond the restaurant’s reputation, it also affects the image of Paris for visitors. This iconic location deserves a level of service that matches its history and charm. I hope my feedback will be taken as a constructive remark to help improve the experience...

Beautiful ambience. We sat on the enclosed patio during a snow storm and the heaters kept us very warm. The nonsmoking section seemed like it had a lot of smoke coming in from the smoking section though.

The service and reception were good. The menus had English descriptions under each dish. The menu contains a decent selection of dishes, but is not overwhelming.

We ordered a charcuterie and cheese board, a bottle of wine and shared a pizza. I noticed some people ate the pizza as it were a personal pizza, but the size was also right for two. The pizza was supposed to be a margharita pizza without olives, but it was served as a traditional cheese pizza (maybe this was because of language barrier). Still, the pizza was very delicious.

We also ordered desserts, the chocolate crepes and creme brulee. Both were great choices, but the creme brulee was the best here, over any other cafe that we ordered it at.

The prices here actually seemed lower than at other resturants, and we all agreed this was one of the best resturants we...

Great food option right next to the Pompidou center. We went for a late lunch. Walked in. Sat outside. Service was FAST.

Great food option right next to the Pompidou center. We went for a late lunch. Walked in. Sat outside. Service was FAST. <10 mins we got water on the table and food ordered. Within 15 mins we got our starter. The waiter that day walked fast and frequently checked the table, replaced the dishes and took extra orders... Etc. We really appreciate the "fast pace" and "no reservation needed". It was a little challenge for us to find a good French restaurant in Paris that is close to the tourism activities and work with our tight traveling schedule. We tasted the starter, 2 main courses (chicken and lamb), salad, desserts and coffee there. The sauces and sides complemented the main dish well. No French fries, a big plus for us.

I’ve been coming to café Beaubourg for more years than I can count…. Loved it from the very first time, as I was impressed to seat within artists and writers, as a teenager I saw these privileged moments as an investment, a secret school to the Parisian scene and elegance. When I meet my friends there, and I do every time I am in Paris, I always come first and a little early to indulge in the sweet nostalgia of my long gone innocence… What a pleasure to welcome the first sunshine of spring, seated with a friend so great we share a lifetime of love and support, the iconic miss Tyra, and thank you Elias for such a warm welcome : « votre gentillesse n’a d’égale que votre beauté ».
