AMORE da Francesca - restaurant pizzeria — Restaurant in Paris

If I could give this place an extra star, I would. It’s quite small and cozy, as you can see in one of the photos, so I would definitely recommend reservations. We made ours an hour ahead of time (but in mid November) and were just fine in getting a table for two. For larger groups, I would say make them as far in advance as possible. It seemed popular with the locals which is always a good sign! Since the place is quaint, you get great service. Our waiter (posing in front of the bar) was fantastic and super friendly. As you can also see in the photos, the bathroom even has some updated features which is always nice in an older building. The ambience was warm. The food was absolutely incredible! My boyfriend has been to Italy and eaten there and made mention he thought it was even better than Italian food made in Italy! And I sure know the pesto was the best I’ve had aside from my mother’s - perfect balance of all ingredients IMO. The desserts were drool worthy. We got the Nutella calzone and the tiramisu. My boyfriend’s first bite made it look like he’d died and gone straight to heaven. Hah. All-in-all, we have absolutely no complaints about any part of our experience even with it being close quarters with your neighbor. It was the last dinner we had on our trip to France and it was a perfect one; I’m really glad we didn’t miss it! Definitely...

Je suis retourné dans cette pizzeria plusieurs fois en 2022, pizza à emporter ou sur place ... Le propriétaire avait changé depuis l ouverture en 2018 et ce sont des siciliens ...

La pizza🍕 est pas mauvaise ( Bon ingrédients , pizza bien garnie, mozzarella de buffala ... Heureusement qu ils ne seront pas là pizzarelle de vache). La pâte n' est pas trop mal a mon goût... Je la préfère encore plus fine comme chez da Michele a Naples ... 🇮🇹, mais carlo se démerde bien ... Mieux que pas mal de pizzaiolo sur Paris !!!

Point positif par rapport à l ancien proprio : Bonne musique ( Battisti ..), bonne ambiance, le four et le pizzaiolo sont au fond du resto ...

Ça reste la meilleur pizza du quartier... En ce moment ...Toujours Meilleure que Sapri ( Siciliens aussi depuis des années dans le quartier) & In Bocca lupo (Napolitain) a mon goût ....

Bravo a toute l'équipe !!! Et continuez a faire vos succulentes pizzas ...

Je prends souvent des pizza mais faites vous d autres plats et desserts Napolitains : Parmigiana, il Baba, pasta al vongole, il Ragu, minestra marina, sfolliatele, la pastiera, impepata du cozze ....Et j en oublie

Par contre déçu par les desserts ... Tiramisu et baba ... Bof bof

Un petit digestif offert genre un limoncello maison serait un plus et fait...

This place is truly the love of it’s proprietor, Francesca - which elevates the experience in many details. The tiny room casts a warm glow on the street. Convivial chatter fills the air. Service is friendly and authentic. The pizzas, salads and antipasti are excellent, from the basics on the menu to seasonal specials. It may not be the “best” pizza in Paris, but it is one of the best places to eat...
