This was an absolutely awesome place to stay! We booked quite late, mainly because we’d never been to Paris before and we were sort of shopping around and frankly overwhelmed by the different choices. There’s always a bit of a gap between what you can see in reviews and actually experiencing a place yourself. This place gave us what we needed - something suitable for the four of us (husband and I plus two kids 10 and 14) and we liked the idea of an apartment with a check in rather than a straight hotel. It was so hot when we stayed and I knew that Europe doesn’t really do aircon like North America, so I was prepared for some hot and sticky nights. But I need not have worried as our apartment and the whole building had perfect aircon! We had the most comfortable nights of our whole trip at this place. The bed was sooooo comfortable, massive pillows etc, just awesome. Everything was so clean and new. The shower was massive and absolutely awesome. I appreciated the Nespresso machine and there is also unlimited tea/coffee/hot chocolate at reception. Plenty of space in the apartment for the four of us. Kids slept on the fold out which was surprisingly comfy. As for the location, you really can’t beat it. The Metro is so easy to get to if you want to go to the city centre and we discovered so many cafes and restaurants and boulangeries within minutes walk. We particularly loved walking to the Jules Joffrin Metro as that area is really pretty and the Nord Sud cafe does a wonderful Parisian breakfast. The reception staff were so nice and helpful with everything we needed. I would not even consider staying anywhere else when we go back to Paris (because we will be back!). Oh, I almost forgot, they also have a free laundry in the building, with washers and dryers and even laundry baskets and all the soap! We were desperate to wash stuff, so we really appreciated it! Montmartre is a really nice area to stay because it’s not right in the thick of tourist central but close enough to get to all the things, and you can easily walk to Sacre Cœr (although those stairs are not for the weak!) Anyway, overall, A+++, this place has it all! Thank you Yuna,...
Read moreWe had a terrible experience here.
Fun fact: the hostess threatened me that she will “write a review on TripAdvisor against me to stop anyone from ever hosting me!” So yes, that’s the kind of service you can expect from this place.
Checkouts are at 10am which is way too soon. From the beginning, we were informed that we can extend it for a price that some algorithm on their app will calculate. We arrived at night (which we had told them before) and immediately asked to extend our time. The receptionist said we should do everything in that so-called app again and he doesn’t know anything more than that. So I surfed the whole app and every inch and tab in it: nothing was there! And the option to contact service (since the receptionist had clearly no clue) to make sure we get the extension was unavailable since they were “offline”. In the morning I said ok I will text them when they are online and guess what: they were online at 9am, an hour before the checkout already! They replied and said they can’t extend and today it’s not available!!!! We thought ok let’s just pay the late fee, because we just couldn’t change our plan in the last hour.
But it gets more interesting: first the cleaning lady came and started shouting at my partner to leave and when we explained and asked for our options they just repeated “CHECK OUT CHECK OUT!” then the hostess came when we were running to pack and leave the place asap, stood at the door, and treated us like some sort of squatters as if we love to stay in their room instead of seeing Paris while saying “this is my house you need to leave!” and all of this was happening when we were saying we are leaving in 10 minutes.
This ruined our day in Paris, so I advise you all to stay away. The furthest thing you want on a vacation is to pay money for someone to ruin your plans at the last minute and insult you to your face while they have a...
Read moreWe booked a trip to Paris fairly last-minute, and found what looked like a good deal here. It was brilliant. Everything is brand new and super clean, and to a very nice standard. It's big enough to be staffed by a friendly team, but yet felt quite small and almost exclusive.
We had a studio flat that appeared to be setup as wheelchair accessible. The bathroom was huge, but the kitchen was a bit smaller than some photos I saw of other rooms here (and no dishwasher). Despite that, it was fully furnished and had all we needed for a family of four over four days. The frying pan was even non-stick!!
