Andorinha — Restaurant in Paris

Beautiful on the inside, insufferable on the inside. The service is non-existent, I was waiting for 15 minutes or more just to be noticed while occasionally trying to attract attention. The food was barely edible, not enough fries to go with the tartare and the tartare itself was basically grounded meat mixed with unholy amount of custard. After finishing my food (I was alone, mind you), I had to wait another 20 minutes for my check (to no avail) and has to eventually go to the counter myself to finally demand that I pay. I could've left without paying and they wouldn't even notice! Finally, I was careless enough to forget something of value inside. When I came back, expecting that the waitress must have retrieved it while cleaning the table (how silly of me), I was met with rudeness and "oh no... I didn't clean that table, some couple came after you and sat there". Absolutely awful. I pray that the management does something about...

Une belle expérience… avec un service perfectible. J’ai emmené mon père pour la fête des Pères, et dans l’ensemble, nous avons passé un bon moment. Les plats étaient bons, bien présentés, mais malheureusement la salade était immangeable : toutes les feuilles étaient noircies d’un côté, ce qui a gâché l’accompagnement.

Nous avons attendu 45 minutes avant d’être servis, ce qui me semble excessif, surtout pour un déjeuner.

Mais ce qui m’a le plus dérangée, c’est le moment de l’addition. Souhaitant évidemment inviter mon père, j’ai trouvé très maladroit que la serveuse annonce le montant à voix haute devant lui, comme si nous étions à la caisse d’un fast-food. Dans un autre contexte je n’aurais rien dit, mais là, c’était gênant.
