AU TOUR DU VIN — Restaurant in Paris

We wanted to end our trip in the most Parisian way we could, and of course that meant with wine and charcuterie. Edward is infectiously enthusiastic about his wine. Beyond that, he is willing to share, educate and let us in on his joy for it. Every price point available, delicious food and gorgeous service. I particularly love that his selections are limited, and he encourages his guests to try different bottles should you continue throughout the evening. And every recommendation was on point. The highlight of the evening is that he made a dream come true tonight, as my fiancée had recently learned about natural wines and wanted to try, but wasn’t sure where to acquire it. Sure enough Edward had a suggestion, and was sure to explain what we should expect to enjoy the experience to full effect. We loved him so much, that we want to make a trip out just to see him with wines of our own from Canada. He is absolutely deserving of every 5 star he gets. And he has definitely won us over as guests for life....

My girlfriend and I were staying nearby for the olympic games - after a late lunch we wanted to enjoy some wine and some cheese and charcuterie - and after reading the reviews we thought we had to pop in and give this place a try. What a hidden gem - the descriptions of the wines available by the glass were detailed and informative, and we both loved our respective red and white tipples. This was paired with a delicious cheese and charcuterie board of 3 ranging cheeses which the owner talked through for us, and all complimented our wines in a unique way. The service was fantastic, and the owner is both charming and really knows his stuff - I would highly recommend Au Tour Du Vin to anyone wanting to watch the parisian world go by, whilst sampling fantastic simple produce...

What a lovely experience at the wine bar, great hospitality by Edward. He's very knowledgeable in wine and it was so interesting to talk to him about wine and cheese, where they're from, different tastes, methods. We tried a few wines he recommended and to our surprise loved all of them, and the cheese platter! I won't give away the name here but try it and talk to him about it.
