Short story: small portions, average quality, rude personnel, 'specific' dishes in menu you may not appreciate. Long story: Let me explain my experience and you'll understand the rating I've selected for this restaurant. It was nice evening, 4 guests and we've decided to visit this restaurant which is mentioned as the one from the Micheline guide. Looked first friendly waiter invited us to seat. We've requested an English menu, but all the specials were in French. Even though we had a person who knows French it was hard to understand what each dish consists of: probably they've selected the fanciest words to describe their dishes, because the restaurant positions itself as well as 'fancy'. The food came ok. Not superb, not bad. Oversalted to anyone's opinion from our company, but ok. And if this is it, I would give the restaurant the rating 4 and this could be the end of the story. However, since the portion sizes are quite small, we've decided to order dessert! We've asked the waitress on 'what is the best and nicest dessert here?', and she spent few minutes explaining us how nice is their eclair and that it is an absolute must to take here. We've ordered three of them. And that was a mistake. I am a fan of anything sour, but even I admitted the eclair is unbearable sour and smells, no, not smells, it stinks vinegar! We've been able to finish two not understanding what's exactly wrong with this dish, however, my wife, who is super cautious about anything she eats, ate the breaded top of the eclair and when it was a time to try the filling she told me it's impossible to eat and she'll turn out if she bites one more time. And the smell of vinegar was all over our table. The filling and dressing of this eclair was heavily filled with vinegar. We've asked waitress on whether it is possible to exchange that last eclair for anything else or get it out of the bill, of course explaining the reasons. She asked that 'friendly' waiter to help her with the situation. He immediately raised his voice up and started to accuse and blame us, that we knew what we are ordering, and that it is totally normal for this eclair be this vinegar-ish, because, he said "we love vinegar here". The fact, that it was a recommendation from waitress was omitted completely. Moreover, I believe, understanding that you have a very specific dish in your menu, you probably shouldn't recommend it, when people are asking for something "nice and tasty". On top of that the guy told us he can't do anything, because we've ate half of it already. You'll see on the photo, that's it is not even a third of it was eaten. So, again, he was arguing about 10 Euro dessert from our 200 Euro bill!!! Even from that perspective, and all the reasons above he could do his best, instead of arguing and accusing. So, that was a very unpleasant experience. As a side note, for a 'posh' level as this restaurant wants to be at, it is not acceptable to serve dishes in plates with chipped sides (added some photos).

We finally made it to this spot after walking past it for 2 years, and I can only say I regret not trying it sooner. We went with friends, a French couple, and decided to go all in. We ordered all then starters on the menu to share: the poultry liver terrine with Porto and hazelnuts, the razor clams with candied ginger, the chanterelles in meat jus with tomatoes and poppy seed, and the parmesan tartlet with pickled mushrooms and saffron zucchini. Every plate was excellent and not one was disappointing. For mains, we tried the gnocchi with parmesan cream, fresh figs and tarragon sorbet, the roasted duck breast with Provençal olive polenta. We also added the pigeon to share which was the special of the day. Apparently, the restaurant speciality is "Ris de Veau" (Sweetbread) but we didn't get to it. The presentation is worthy of a Michelin star. The flavors are refined and creative, also very much worthy of a star. Service was equally impressive. The lady serving us was not only attentive and professional but also warm, handling our banter with charm and a laugh. Fast service too, though to be fair it was a quiet day with only a few tables filled. For lunch, they actually offer a two course menu at 26 euros or a three course menu at 32 euros from Tuesday to Friday, which is a steal for this level of food. Very bistronomie, especially for the 9th arrondissement. We went off menu, of course, because celery (and there is only one choice per course in the menu) wasn’t calling my name that day, and we ended up paying about 360 euros for the whole table (90 euros per person including the tip and a nice Red Châteauneuf du Pape 2019). Not especially cheap, but worth every cent given the quality. I also noticed they opened a little comptoir across the street for lighter bites, which I will definitely try next time. In short, excellent food, beautiful presentation, genuinely kind service, and a lunch deal that is hard to beat (if you get it). Definitely recommend it and easily one of the best finds in the neighborhood.

Went into this place really excited with a group of friends after a week of hard work. It had good reviews and was on the Michelin guide as a recommend location. We were a group of four and ordered entree, main and dessert, food was decent but not out of this world. Haddock was a bit flavorless and the puree underneath didn’t offer enough contrast. Terrine was fresh and good quality, balanced in flavor. What left an incredibly sour taste in our mouths was the service. There is a lady that has been given the order to bulldoze out the patrons once they hit their two hour limit was awful, when we ordered a second bottle of wine she proceeded to say “but you only have 25minutes!” And berated us for the rest of the evening before serving us the bill to get out, I’m surprised she didn’t pull us out by the limbs. There’s more tact and politeness to managing time limits, this place won’t earn any return customers regardless of food quality. Makes sense they had room on a Saturday night. Also we paid 83 EUR per head which is expensive for the overall experience.

unfortunately it wasn’t anything we expected. We were on time for our reservation and weren‘t welcomed impolitely but not really warm-heartedly either. We were seated on a table that seemed not really romantic for us as a couple almost next to the cash register, the phone and their entrance to the kitchen. On request after it got very tight with the other guests, they took our coats and took them by themself (they ain’t got no hangers or anything) The service was not really up to par and seemed very disorganized, for example I never was asked if I would like to have another glass of wine. One of the owner I think it was , complained about which language we finally wanna speak while he served our dishes since my partner speaks French and I speak English - almost ridiculous. The food is good but not above average and nothing we associate with fine dining. During our dinner we felt neither comfortable nor really wanted but rather tolerated. We had a little chitchat with the guest next to us during the owner interrupted us asking him if he finally had finished eating in a very rude way. When we asked for the bill and paid by cash we waited way to long for the change so we finally told them they can keep the rest even we wanted to give not that much tip but for us it seemed ridiculous and unorganized again. All in one the visit was a 3/10 and not really „french“. As we know…Paris - you can do so...
